If you want to slim down, you cut down on your calorie intake
If you want to gain muscle then you up your protein intake and calorie intake.
There is no such thing as spot reduction, toning is for weak willed dim-wits and if you're cutting then YOU WILL lose muscle (as well as fat).
^Truth. Least I'm not the only one who knows how to properly work out.
If you want to "slim down" or lose fat, you eat rough 100-500 below your calorie maintenance. Make sure you get your protein, carbs (complexed ones rather than simple ones) and good fats.
Muscle gain...just lift heavy weights and eat 100-500 over your calorie maintenance (while eating complexed carbs, getting adequate amounts of protein and of course good fats). If your skinny already, you'll gain fat along with muscle during this period. If your overweight already, you just eat at maintenance and lift heavy weights, you'll gain muscle since your body is already a calorie pool >.>.
Currently just cutting, cardio is a bitch.

The 2 who need to know that, were those other 2 dip shits. That were advising everyone to drink sodas and push dildo up their ass to build muscle. As far as the topic. I throw the hammer so arm and chest strength is not that impotent so, I bench 180-190lb. My max at 1 rep is unknown because what good does that do for you?
