I'm a 21 year-old virgin and I'm proud of it.

I satisfied my biological urge when I was 17 and, although I don't exactly regret it, it want spacial, hell it wasn't even awkward. Virginity isn't a big deal, in fact holding out no longer factors in to you spreading your genes as long as you do eventually do so. With contraceptives the biological difference is negligable. If you want to wait that's fine, if not, also fine. My point is, either way it doesn't matter, not where it counts (the future of the human gene pool). Have sex, cool whatever, don't, cool whatever. Any extraneous meaning you personally add to sex is your choice. For me, it's fun and feels good. For others it's sacred.

21 is young still. Ive a friend who's like 40 now and she's a woman to boot.
I would say, there's nothing wrong with being a virgin, but its not something to be proud of either - its just a neutral thing really, to me ok.

What are you worried about boy? I'm almost 22 and haven't even ever kissed a girl let alone talked to one yet. Life is more than just sex and romance. In my opinion, life can be enjoyed in many more ways, and doesn't need certain factors. Besides, not having a girlfriend can be very positive! For example, if you have a dream to become very good at something, you have nothing that can hold you back. You can go everywhere without anyone who will miss you, you can risk everything and stay away from home for days just to achieve your goals and dreams. Well, that's what keeps my spirits up these days. I -for example- just fully focus myself on becoming a great car mechanic and learn as much as possible and try not to think about how my life could be with a loving girlfriend. It's strange how you can miss something you never had...

I'm 18 and a virgin, and though I wouldn't say I'm proud of it (not in the slightest), I'm not utterly depressed about it, and there's no reason for me to be. If you don't want to have sex, then don't have sex. On the other end of the comfortability-with-virginity scale, I feel that the best advice you can be given about this is not to cave in to peer pressure. Don't feel pestered/pushed/rushed/forced to do anything you don't want to do, and try not to be upset or concerned about being a virgin. If your friends are getting laid, don't let it get you down or make you think you're the only one who isn't having sex. I know it bothers me a little, and it probably bothers some of you guys aswell, but don't beat yourselves up too badly over your virginity.

Kudos for being content with your current situation, but it's really not that big of a deal. You're not a special snowflake for having sex or not having sex. :x

I think it's nothing to be "proud" of or to be ashamed of.
I personally lost my virginity pretty early and don't regret it, because it was a decision I made. And simply put, I love sex haha.
Most guys around my age that I work out with or on my basketball team aren't virgins, but a couple of my best friends definitely are. And by choice. So, it's really not a big deal.

In my opinion, life can be enjoyed in many more ways, and doesn't need certain factors.I found myself nodding in agreement to this part of the post. I don't think I can top "haven't talked to a girl" although generally it seems I either don't have much to say or can't really talk to them much due to lack of any specific topic we could relate to. But I suppose that is my fault for being such a gaming/anime/manga geek and having my personality lol. Although that isn't to say I haven't tried XD.
Although in general life has more things to offer than just romance and sex, romance(and sex even if it is less important) is an aspiration I have yet to fufill. And so it is understandable to want to fufill it since it can happen at the same time you are doing other things that interest you/are enjoyable.
Nothing wrong with being "proud" about being a virgin since that just shows they are ok with how things have turned out for them. Although I do think it is obnoxious when people brag that they aren't lol.

If you're stressed about being a virgin why don't you just hire a call girl and get it out of the way?
