Immortality or Rencarnation
There can be only one (Immortality)

Only one chose?
And who says we cant live forever?
Its only a matter of time before we find the key to immortality.

I wouldn't want to be immortal, I'd probably go insane at some point. Living as the same person would get kinda boring and miserable after a while, plus you'd outlive everyone precious to you. I choose reincarnation.

Reincarnation living forever is too much of a hassle with people evolving and perception of time getting faster as I age. This is unless my immortality comes with eternal youth and the ability to evolve with my species. If this is the case then I might take it

Let me play devil's advocate to anyone who'll choose immortality, this one goes to me as well. Oh, and I'm operating on the basis that the type of immortality is the perfect type (eternal youth; immunity to diseases, wounds, medical science)How will you deal with loved ones who have died and the prospect of everyone you will ever meet will one day leave you too?
How will you treat other's lives? If you, whose life has no value, can value the lives of others? (god that sounded bad ass)
How will you interact with people? Will you share your immortality? The knowledge that you are immortal? Will you keep it a secret? Will you hide it in fear of being turned into a lab rat, shunned from society and everybody?
Will you still value time? Will you spend your days as if it was limited or treat it as an over abundant commodity?
What will you do if you are imprisoned?
How will you deal with the idea that one day your planet and even species will die out?
How will you deal with the end of the universe? If you even make it to the next big bang and the next universe. How will this new life treat you? And how will you treat this new life?
How will you deal with loved ones who have died and the prospect of everyone you will ever meet will one day leave you too?
I'd probably get to a point of faking my emotions. Knowing that everyone meets their end. Of course, loving would be impossible, cause your beloved would die. if there was a way to make them immortal too, then that'd be perfect.
How will you treat other's lives? If you, whose life has no value, can value the lives of others?
They'd be worthless, unless they proved to me that their life was worth something. But, I would still go out of my way to help people, and save them.
How will you interact with people?
Like I normally do. Interaction would probably change with the times.
Will you share your immortality?
If I could share it with the person I loved, sure. But they'd have to consent/ be willing to live the rest of their life with me.
The knowledge that you are immortal?
Maybe. Would depend
Will you keep it a secret?
Mayhaps
Will you hide it in fear of being turned into a lab rat, shunned from society and everybody?
No, I'd hide it from them to make everyone believe I'm normal, and keep people from fearing me. Which I suppose makes it a yep... meh
Will you still value time?
Time would fly by. If there was a way to make money without going to work every day, it'd be perfect. but, you'd get bored.
Will you spend your days as if it was limited or treat it as an over abundant commodity?
I'm not sure. I'd probably think it was limited, but knowing it's not, not really put any effort into backing it
What will you do if you are imprisoned?
I suppose it depends what I'm imprisoned for. I'd do my time, as it'd just fly by, so I'm not a wanted fugative running from the law forever.
How will you deal with the idea that one day your planet and even species will die out?
In the same way that knowing my loved ones would die. It probably wouldn't phase me at the time, as I'd probably become desensitised to it, and it may be the end of my immortality. a final end to the long life I'd had.
How will you deal with the end of the universe?
Depends if I make it passed the earth and humans dying. We'll see.
If you even make it to the next big bang and the next universe. How will this new life treat you?
No idea
And how will you treat this new life?
As a life.

How will you deal with loved ones who have died and the prospect of everyone you will ever meet will one day leave you too?
the same way i deal with it right now with pets.
How will you treat other's lives? If you, whose life has no value, can value the lives of others? (god that sounded bad ass)
why does my life suddenly have no value just because its everlasting? i still know what it was like to age.
How will you interact with people? Will you share your immortality? The knowledge that you are immortal? Will you keep it a secret? Will you hide it in fear of being turned into a lab rat, shunned from society and everybody? since we're assuming this is perfect immortality i have no worries about becoming a lab rat.
Will you still value time? Will you spend your days as if it was limited or treat it as an over abundant commodity? i'll just do everything. or so i think. id probably be talking here on fakku and playing wow till both of them die.
What will you do if you are imprisoned? the prison will decay before i do, no matter what its made of.
How will you deal with the idea that one day your planet and even species will die out? I wont care all that much, there has to be something after words, and if there isnt then my mistake is realized at that point
How will you deal with the end of the universe? If you even make it to the next big bang and the next universe. How will this new life treat you? And how will you treat this new life? the end wouldnt kill me, and i doubt the new begining would. by now id just say hey to the first living thing i found.
EDit- also pfff, if loving would be impossible for you how can you ever love anything that disappears. thats like saying you cant love youre grandparents.
a certain ammount of sadness is required in this equation.

Spoiler:
Interesting. Probably badly. This is an impossibility for me as I see immortality as the most greatest and bestest thing EVA! For me at least.
But it's fun to try and change perspevtive once in a while. So, here goes:
I'd most likely spend an eternity [size=10](get it? cause I'm immortal...and...SHUT UP)[/h] looking for a way to either to kill me, the thing that made me immortal, or everyone out of insanity.
How will you interact with people? How will you treat other's lives? If you, whose life has no value, can value the lives of others?
My interactions with people would be severely limited. If not down right hermetic. At least for a while.
My views on life and how to treat it would still be the same, assuming I don't go insane. I treat it as something precious. Hell, I might gain some new insights and further my will to cherish it.
What will you do if you are imprisoned?
How will you deal with the idea that one day your planet and even species will die out?
How will you deal with the end of the universe? If you even make it to the next big bang and the next universe. How will this new life treat you? And how will you treat this new life?
Would either be my breaking points or moments of character.
How will you deal with loved ones who have died and the prospect of everyone you will ever meet will one day leave you too. Will you share your immortality? The knowledge that you are immortal? Will you keep it a secret? Will you hide it in fear of being turned into a lab rat, shunned from society and everybody?
I'd see immortality as a curse, so I wouldn't dare bestow it upon anyone nor much less reveal it. Unless, it was someone I truly love. I'd ask her:"When you say forever. You mean forever, right?". However, If I went past my breaking point, the asking part is optional. But If I can't share immortality, either I go insane and try to be generic villain mastermind#440-AC-007 or live my immortal life and move on. Boning sentient lifeforms across the milky way and back.

Reincarnation
Immortality sounds good on paper, but think of this. When or if you fall in love with someone, you're going to outlive them. You're going to see all your loved ones around you die. Your siblings, your wife/husband, your children. All of them. You will have to bury all of your family and friends eventually. The cycle of this will repeat over and over. Any attempts to kill yourself will be wasted effort because you are immortal. If you're suffering from pain you won't be able to die. If you've been made into a slave you can't die. If you're sick of this world you can't die.
The only way I would choose immortality is if someone else can be immortal with me.

It kind of depends. Immortality in which I don't age would be okay, and i'd do a lot with my time, but being a different person and having a fresh start would be even better probably. I'd also use the opportunity to try life as the opposite gender, just because :P

I'd go for immortality, I always want to see how this world will end.
reincarnation is kinda suck, since you will lose all the wisdom you have attained this far, and you will probably make the same stupid mistakes again like you did in the past life.
