Is it bad to have no sense of humor?

I'll just be frank, I never really had much of a joking personality to begin with and the things iv seen and done, you either lose you sense of humor or you lose your life.(fyi I've seen people die laughing, crying and sometimes both, people often lose their minds just seconds before they stop breathing)
And even in the rare occasions I do make a joke or say something funny the overall concept is depressing.
Here's two examples. (one of which wasn't even intended as a joke or to be funny but people just started laughing from how blunt it was)
joke 1 (the one intended as a joke)
A drunk, a smoker and a fireman are trapped in a building surrounded by zombies
they decide that someone needs to distract them so the others can find an exit
but no one wants to do it, so the drunk walks to the smoker grabs his lighter lights his beer and flings it out the window, then quickly looks at the fireman and says "well MR.FIREFIGHTER time to go to work!"
now for the one not intended to be funny
we were in school talking about us history, slavery in particular, long story short we started talking about mixed couples and I asked "what would happen to the child of a black/white couple" teacher responded saying
"regardless of skin color if they were known to be of mixed race they would be treated the same as the common slave or sometimes worse and other times they just killed the parents and the child"
after hearing that I quickly responded "well that obviously didn't stop em from fucking each other" the exact moment I said that 3 other students just burst out laughing even the teacher couldn't keep a straight face he was just looking away trying not to laugh.
And it took me a moment to get it because at first I was just looking at them asking "what'd I say, what's so funny?" they were laughing because they didn't know how to react just from the bluntness of what I said.
Just so people don't start saying crap like "fucking racists" two of the students laughing where black the 3rd guy was Mexican and I'm mixed Latino(costa Rican and Mexican) black, and Irish, with some Russian from my grandmothers side of the family.
And even in the rare occasions I do make a joke or say something funny the overall concept is depressing.

To me, having no sense of humour is a really bad thing.
Also, racism is funny. It may be un-pc, but it's still funny.
I try to make people laugh, as it's a great ice breaker, and it's fun. If you don't have a sense of humour, I imagine you'd be pretty boring

I try to make people laugh too but thing is I got such a harsh view of life its different for me I try not to think of all the bad stuff and rather try to look for things ironic and laugh about it sometimes I try to share my slightly morbid sense of humor and most others find it just flat out depressing.
Thing is I can laugh at other forms of comedy I watch multiple different comedic stand up even if the joke doesn't follow logic I can still laugh but I cant make any jokes of most types of comedy even the forms of comedy I can do its very rare

"well that obviously didn't stop em from fucking each other" How the hell does someone with no sense of humor come up with something as funny as that??
Have you been down in the dumps lately?
btw, I didn't find the first joke funny either.

it was just a spur of the moment reaction I didn't even notice it till a few moments later when everyone was flipping out laughing
as for down in the dumps not really iv kinda always been like this only two states of mind I really recall myself being in either very chilled almost sleepy.
Except for times when people challenge me to a fight,
thinkin about it now all I can really remember is the adrenaline rush and the first few moments of a fight
*not saying i got knocked out just, that I don't usually see people again after I fight em and the times I do its usually with weapons of some sort, cowards too afraid to go hand to hand with me usually go with weapons never ends well for em that's all I'm saying about that*

I'm no expert at this, but I'm bored so I'll try to give you some advice. I imagine you don't talk to people that much.
Try making friends or at least have a simple conversation. You don't even have to crack jokes all the time, but the more you know about a person the easier it is to make them laugh.
You mentioned watching stand-up comedy and enjoying that. Maybe you could keep those guys in mind when you feel the need to keep a conversation interesting by telling a joke.

Spoiler:
I actually do have friends just probably not the same type of people you maybe familiar with nor do I think you would want to meet any of these type of people.(trust me you wouldn't)
thing is you are right about one thing I don't talk much its not that I don't talk to people but more of the fact that I'm a very quiet person in general
if you want to get a clear view of the type of person I am I'm sure if you've been to a club you've seen someone like this I'm not the person dancing or even at the front of the bar I'm the guy hidden in the back the one that you see almost never moving but somehow get the feeling that if someone crossed that dude the wrong way they'd get a blade to the neck.
thing is the people that know me they know I'm friendly(long as no one trys to step to me) just very quiet, often times I get dragged to events or partys cus people want me to act as some sorta bodyguard,
in some sense of irony I know way more girls then I do men if you count the amount of women I know both IRL and online and take the total number of guys I know(subtracted by the amount of them that are dead now) it would be close to approximately 10 women per 1 guy I know (not counting individual one time convos)
honestly not sure if that just makes me more awkward to women being around girls so long normally you'd figure I'd be more comfortable talking to em but I rarely talk to anyone much.

The first thing I try and do around new people is to break the ice with quips and be "that guy" that jokes around. Sometimes I even do shit that most people would get embarrassed doing but I do it because I like making people laugh.
To me it is pretty bad to have no sense of humour, means you take everything too seriously and it makes you one hell of a boring individual.

It depends on the type of joke.I fully agree with this, I myself think that joking about rape and racism isn't funny so to me that's bad but at the same time that's just my opinion so it's all up to the person themself. :)

Well I would say the person with no sense of humor is no fun to be around with. My friends and I like jokes, even when they are pretty racist and such. We make fun of each other, they are jokes, laugh at them. But my sister has no sense of humor, any jokes involving women or whatever, she just get pissed and just ruins the mood. Its just a joke, so its not that fun to be around a person with no sense of humor. Jokes that make fun of me or friends background or whatever, just laugh it off.

simple , the least thing you can do is just to respond to jokes , funny acts , at least with a smile , or a light laugh !

So you expect me to believe that you've seen multiple people dying from laughing and/or crying....

I wouldnt enjoy my life half as much as I do with no sense of humor, poeple need to laugh sometimes.

I suppose it depends on what kind of person you are and what kind of friends you have. I'm the sort of person that relies on humour in social situations however if you are someone who can get by without jokes then that's absolutely fine as long as it's not detrimental to your social life.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and, with support from your other post where you wrote a dreary but ultimately shallow text, assume you are under eighteen, I would guess fourteen years old, and you are going through an apathetic fase of your early teens. I am making this claim because, as an observant guy who has always been interested in Psychology, I have noticed this many times on many people and I have also went through that fase myself.
Now, adressing the possibility that I am wrong about my assumption, and trust me, I feel no reservation about it either way, if you are apathetic towards humor, I wouldn't say it is necessarily bad (this word, perhaps, another hint at your immaturity) in the sense that it doesn't concern morality. I would, however, say you might be a rather boring person. In my experience, girls (or boys if you prefer) don't go for the awkward, lonely, depressed poet. They go for the social, funny and/or attractive guy who could be awkward, lonely and depressed on occasion.
I now realize this post may be a little too confrontational but I feel like writing freely and I am also dreadfully bored.

I was saying iv seen people start to let go just a few moments before they die some start laughing others crying sometimes both or nothing at all
personally I think its impossible to die of laughing or crying matter of fact according to statistics at least, people who laugh/cry or show more emotion live longer but, unfortunately even if your a world class clown or top notch comedian that doesn't make you bulletproof and it never will

It was a play on the way you wrote sentence because initially I did misread it, but then I understood what you meant. You get what I'm saying. It was a joke!!! Laugh at that and your sense of humor is fine...at least chuckle a bit...
