Wow! I don't feel like the weird anymore! I can't believe so many people here think this way as well. Where I live, men are kind of macho (latins after all), so all of them kinda see women like a magical cum extractor.
About it, I (at least in my case) does not have to do anything with love, since I behave the same way with girls I've been and I'm certain that I didn't loved them. For me, is really exiting to make them go crazy to the point they can't even move anymore. Then, I feel like having sex.
So, in short, it may not be your situation, but from my point of view, making her crazy IS what I want for me. I don't care if she latter wants to do things to me (usually I don't even like it because hardly I've been with someone who provides me more pleasure giving me a fellatio than me doing stuff to her).

Well, I think it depends. I once dated a guy who felt very much like this to the point that he never thought he was good enough, regardless of my satisfaction with our sex life. He had a lot of troubles though and it seemed obvious to me that he had some serious psychological issues with sex due to a lot of past trauma he had experienced, it all started to put some strain on the relationship.
I should also note that I, like about 70% of women have a hard time cumming through regular intercourse, so I understand the challenge and the possible frustrations. But sex can still be extremely pleasurable even if a guy doesn't end up making the girl cum every time. But foreplay is definitely the key. I had an amazing relationship with a girl, my first serious serious relationship, and that was some of the best sex I've had, mainly b/c of the insane amount of foreplay you put into it.

The point is, if servicing a girl makes you happy, that's pleasure you're deriving from the experience. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's best not to write it off as self-sacrifice if you're in it to get happy off the ego boost. Again, nothing wrong with that-- most people would agree it's one of the best ways to get happy. :>
