When my grandfather was in the military he got stationed in Japan and bought a house and a some land, but he never said sold it so now he owns some property in Japan that he is probably never gonna see again. This was in the 1950's when he bought it and left 1964 to go to Italy.

That movie was fucking sad. I almost stopped watching it halfway through.
Japan's awesome in some ways, and fails in some other ways.

Erm, has anyone been to Sapporo, Hokkaido? (looks around and wonders if a certain fellow Fakkuza has been there... ero-sensei, mnx, anyone?)

I went to Okinawa for about 3 months and met a man their named "Hatori Hanzo" he was a cool restaurant owner and apparently also made samurai swords which was great for me because I wanted one to kill a certain person named Bill. Needless to say I had many encounters on the way killing about 50 people I loved it.

Its fucking cold there. I was in the city for 2 days, and I had neglected to bring a coat. I had to buy one that was overpriced and didn't fit so my balls wouldn't retract. Its a beautiful city though, so I would highly recommend that you go...just bring a coat ;)

Good to know that it's a beautiful city and the cold weather would be over by the time I'm slated to go over. I only worry about not speaking the language, I would be fine, I suppose. I don't want to look like a fool in front of my proxy superior.
