I really wish Japanese classes would be taken in here, I don't really know how to learn Japanese through the internet. I know that learning through the internet won't really be learning the language properly but I don't see any other way either, the only thing I see right now is only Nama sensei who I'm yet to give a try but he won't be enough to fully teach me Japanese, right? What's Rosetta stone by the way?
Rosetta stone is considered one of the best language learning software avaliable.
It also costs several hundred bucks for the full set of one language.
Is it possible for me to download it for free.
Yes, easily.
Link please (I'm lazy and sleepy right now).

verified so it shouldn't be worrisome. Dunno about life of the torrent though.
Thank you so very much. But it seems that the site is giving some problems right now, I will make sure to check it out soon. Also as thanks I feel that I should rep you but I see negative rep on you so I want to confirm it, do you want me to negative rep you? I mean, are you like Harmonian who wants to have negative rep or are you normal who got negative repped?

Hey guys, after looking at some reviews I noticed that that although it seemed that Rosetta stone is great for most languages it didn't go very well with Japanese because all it does is make you say the words with pictures, but you wouldn't know what you were referring too. On the reviews I saw that "rocket Japanese" and tell "me more Japanese" were well regarded.

A lot of foreign teachers teach this way. Some countries even prefer the teacher not know the first language very well.Rosetta stone also teaches this way by using images and you listen to the voices who speak the native language. You put what they're saying to the image and you learn from listening, speaking, and writing over and over again.
Just be prepared to do a lot of out of school practice. Unfortunately to learn a language well you have to put in a lot of effort, and anything the teacher suggests you do or study, always do.

Using tips:
you only use "hajimemashite" for people you just met, it means one "hajimemashite" for one person. Using it for the second time might get you a few chuckles and strage stares.
and I don't really consider "Domo" a slang word, it's more of a shorter version, like "Thanks"
and you must use "Ima" if you want to ask for the time, ex: "Ima nan-ji?"

Whats "Excuse me but I need to go to the toilet" in Japanese? You could just say, "sumimasen, toilet/toire"
Or you could do a little dance and put your hands between your legs while you mutter "oshikko!" and they'll help you out after laughing at you.
But the best way is probably "toire ni ikitai desu" which is "I want/have to go to the bathroom." However, nobody would likely say that in real life imo. It is almost the equivlent of saying "I have to go pee" in english, it makes sense but you wouldn't say something so... crude I guess?
If I had to go to the bathroom, I would simply say "chotto sumimasen" and excuse myself as it is odd to announce that you have to use the bathroom. If someone asked where I was going I would say "toire" or perhaps tell them to mind their own business.
______________________________________________________________________________
Kaimax is also completely right on his points.
1.Domo is not slang
2.if you don't add Ima then your saying "time?" instead of "What time is it now?
3.hajimemashite is for introductions. It probably stems from its root word "hajime" which is "began/beginning" as in "lets began our acquaintance or meeting". I don't know about not saying it more than once though. Maybe if it was like for an instructor you meet only once a month? You could say it then I think. It isn't another way to say hello to people you know though.

If you are using rosetta stone, stick with it. It is meant for you to struggle at first. You start realizing what the pictures REALLY mean once you get an answer right but then another one wrong when you swore it is just like the last question. It helps you learn subtleties about the words so you don't improperly use them. You learn the syntax of the language so you don't sound so much like a foreigner.
