Long-Distance Relationships
Should We Start Dating?

My friends always says that Long-Distance relationships don't work, but I disagree to them so I am suggesting you go for it. If the girl truely values your relationship hopefully, it'll work out.

here is what I say. I have a long distance relationship but its only 1 and a half hours apart. I get to see her about once every two weeks, but we love each other a LOT and were determined to make it work. It helps that we have skype and we belong to the same forums and we go onto Facebook a lot. My relationship works and im sure there are worse ones that have. so my awnser to your question is. Do you think its worth it?

I was in a long distance relationship.
altough it was a 12 hour flight before we could actually be face to face (a good 9000 kilomiters) (Belgium - South-Africa)
The relationship lasted a good 3 years but I guess we kinda drifted apart. we still talk to eachother on regular basis as friends.
These kind of relationship are build heavily on trust. not to mention expensive.
it kind of runs in the family tough.
my cousin is currenly dating someone in Venizuela
another cousin is dating someone in the middle east. Haven't heard much of it so I don't know where exactly
and a niece is dating someone in Russia

I was in a long-distance relationship. I live in Indiana, and at the time she lived in Pennsylvania. Granted it didn't turn out well in the end, but we were happily together - I think - for over two years.
Long distance relationships can work, but I'm convinced that the long they go without fruition the more like a break-up will be. Of course you're not talking about a particularly great distance so that may not be a factor at all.

Russian boys are not that great, if you want my opinion, I can tell a bunch about them...never seen such horrible guys with girls.
Anyway, yes, you should definitely date her :)
Your situation is quite easy from my point of view, so :)
