I dont think its wrong but, if you die and your lover refuses to follow you. i find that perfectly normal, because i doubt he/she is bound to hold on to someone dead forever. that only happens in anime, but rarely in reality. and when you said that you asked your lover to do lovers suicide and refuses to follow you, obviously he/she would. thats a really selfish request you got there for the person man.

1. Isn't lover's suicide for couples who are forbidden to be together, and wish to escape persecution? You know, like romeo and juliet, that sort of thing. It's definitely not normal couples who have every perogative to be together.
2. I'd like to think that love is less about dying, and more about living. That is to say, wouldn't you rather live for you love, than die for it? I think it's better to live for decades with your loved one, going through good and bad times together, so that you can look back and see all that you've accomplished, rather than committing suicide out of some misguided sense of martyrdom.
