Maybe once America releases non sucky manga/anime here I'll be interested in getting it. I liked Kimi ni Todoke, so I got some of its manga.
No offense, but the largest portion of their manga is shoujo, and there's only so much cute girl bishy guy dramatic romance I can take before I want to stick my finger down my throat.
I'm tired of things not being released because it's not kosher to Americanized social standards.
Probably their largest fan base are people 18 and older who want more than Naruto and Bleach.

Viz have been putting out some original and quality titles for a while (and overall quality books).
Also, the part where you say the majority of titles are shoujos is not so true. It is true there's lots of licensed shoujo titles, but they don't overwhelm the rest of the genres in any way.
