Mangafox is getting their balls squeezed.

It would appear that some organization or influential individual is applying pressure to Mangafox.com to pull some of their scanslated series from their servers. A few that I have noticed so far are Kodomo No Jikan, Ichinensei ni Nacchattara, and Domina no Do. There are probably quite a few more that have been removed that I haven't seen yet, but that's about the gist of it. Anybody here know what happened or exactly how long these have been down for? Another question would be what other sites are these series hosted on? Discuss/rant/rave/flame/etc/etc/etc/ad nauseum.

They shouldn't blame it always on scanlation becuase when it comes to buying manga they never have much for sale in store & any that they have they never have any of the volumes that I want like I baught Vol. 1 of Battle Royal about 2 years ago and they haven't had Vol. 2+. They have had some odd ones but I'm not going to buy it unless they have the ones before.

Maybe once America releases non sucky manga/anime here I'll be interested in getting it. I liked Kimi ni Todoke, so I got some of its manga.

No offense, but the largest portion of their manga is shoujo, and there's only so much cute girl bishy guy dramatic romance I can take before I want to stick my finger down my throat.

I'm tired of things not being released because it's not kosher to Americanized social standards.

Probably their largest fan base are people 18 and older who want more than Naruto and Bleach.

Pretty much. Is it really so hard to re-evaluate some of these morals? "They" have managed to fail every time when trying to produce evidence that cartoon depictions of children in sexually explicit manners has ever led to an increase in child exploitation.

Is it so much to ask that you back up your moral high-horse with something concrete? I hate morals, but if you can at least back them up I'll try to respect them, but if you have nothing then keep your thoughts to yourself.

Ziggy dude, you're pretty out of touch aren't you? Del Rey and Viz have been putting out some original and quality titles for a while (and overall quality books).

Also, the part where you say the majority of titles are shoujos is not so true. It is true there's lots of licensed shoujo titles, but they don't overwhelm the rest of the genres in any way.
