U.... RIBE!!!!
The Giants are up on the Phils 3-1! Let's take the series at home with Lincecum on the hill tomorrow!
Texas is still up 3-2 after that loss to the Yankees. They still have a good chance of going to their first World Series.
Let's go Giants! This year is our year!!

giants vs. texans(even though i like the yankees...if they can't win the next two then they obivously don't need to be in the world series)

Wow, first game of the World Series won by the Giants...after almost everybody expected a pitchers duel between Lincecum and Cliff Lee, at the end both pitchers had a bad day yesterday.
At the beginning of the game things were not so good for the pitcher of the Giants, Tim Lincecum...in fact i could watch his "face of panic" when the 1st. inning was over.
After that everybody though Cliff Lee will be able to handle the Giants offensive, and he did it, but not much longer...in the 5 inning technically, blow and couldnt handle more.
And the Giants came back and took the advantage...with some problems at the 9th inning to get the out 27, but at the end was a good game.
Congrats to the Giants and good luck, lets hope today's game will be good as yesterday's game.

He didn't exactly handle the Giants' offense. He was getting hit hard all day. He didn't allow any big innings, but he was getting hit. He gave up 2 runs in the third and then in the 4th, he had that battle with Uribe. He wasn't getting any easy outs. Then of course, the Giants exploded in the 5th.
Great game... FOR ME AND GIANTS FANS!

well, of course i agree with you, i just said even when was gettin hit, looked like will be able to handle the game, but at the end as you said Uuuuuuuuribe and the Giants offence hitted hard Lee...poor of him.
And now 2nd game just ended few minutes ago and again, victory for the Giants.
Ha, what we didnt saw yesterday, we saw it today, a good pitching duel...
and what a good 8th inning for the Giants, 7 careers...wow...i think Rangers manager didnt move his bullpen to avoid more scoring from the giants.
Again, lets see what comes saturday with the 3rd game in Arlington, good luck to both teams!.

Heard the parade was pretty crazy. Chicks in their panty and bra's dancing on mailboxes and stuff. Usually it's the men in panties and bras dancing on mailboxes.

Congrats to the Giants. Its good to see a team like that win.
About free agency, I've been hearing that Cliff Lee has met up with Brian Cashman. If Cliff Lee leaves the Rangers and becomes a Yankee, I will stop watching baseball. This is ridiculous.
At the end of next season, they'll take someone else's star pitcher/position player and overpay for them.
One of the interesting things I've heard was said on the radio referencing an article written in the New York Times. The article was basically pointing out that the Yankees hurt their competition when they lose. And no its not about ratings.
They make more moves after they lose. Remember when they didn't make the playoffs? They got CC, AJ, and Texiera, giving them more than any other team would have offered. They overspend for a star from another team, poaching talent every year, more so when they lose. Even if that person doesn't sign with the Yankees, the team he does sign for has to overpay. The money used to resign the star could have been used to sign a few quality players, but instead it isn't. The team resigned its star, and as weird as it sounds, the team just got worse.
My point is this: If Cliff Lee becomes a Yankee, no more baseball for me.
Again, congrats on the Giants. I hope more teams like the Giants and Rangers win in the future.

I love that our local radio station replayed all the clinching games for the Giants earlier today. That was a blast reliving those moments. Even though you know how the game is going to end, you still feel tense listening to it. You can really hear and feel the tension in the broadcasters voice.
And then listening to that call by Flemming on Renteria's homer to clinch our first Series in San Francisco... Wow...
