Moving to California.

As the title says I'll be moving to Cali in November (L.A. to be exact) ,and I was hoping to get some tips ,and fun facts I should know from people who live their or nearby. Any little bit of information would be great.

Everybody skateboards over there

Don't wear anything or use anything at night that you think might get mugged for.
Also if your white be prepared to being called cracker or white boy on a daily basis more that usual by the random black guys.

Remember just because everyone said it was full of beautiful women, warm beaches and everybody is mello surfers... well central coast is, but LA isn't.

And take it from someone who's moving away from the central coast-- the central coast is absolutely fantastic provided all of your carrying bags are full of money that you want to piss away on the cost of housing.

if prop 19 passes you can smoke pot =D

Expect to witness traffic like you've never seen it before. Fill up on gas, you'll be driving everywhere.

That pretty much every town on the California coast with the exception of San Diego... i lived there pretty cheap.

No idea , but finding a place in LA shouldn't be hard

Be careful with the city itself man. It's pretty ghetto. Oh and you know there's little tokyo and ala/animexpo to look forward to.

Lol LA is a nice place. Just avoid the Ghettos and you will be good.
Protip: Asian parts of LA have some of the best food around.

went to san diago last year when my cousin graduated from the marines, my uncle got the bird from a LITTLE OLD LADY GOING 90! .... for the love of god.... never again.

And if you don't have a car then the Metro is your friend lol
We do have gangsters but a good number of them are just wannabes that can easily be dealt with.
Hollywood is a cool place to hang out. So is Universal CityWalk.
I cant think of anything else right now but if ya need someone to hang out with then
let me know. =p
