hmm... we are in the same state. I also wonder if i can draw anymore, because i have things to do >_>
Anyway, the first drawing kinda makes me remember about Alien vs Predator.
very pretty made, what bother me is just the eye and the mouth. I think they need more detail, since that where our eyes wandering for the most.
And the second one, Feels like "light deva" to me.
This... i confused to determine what is the light source and what is not. The other yellow part of the body is to bright, and some of highlight also misplaced. What bothering me the most is the color of that yellow ring in the middle of his body.
I also can see that you playing with brush preset, good choice for this one. And yes, great background.

I think you still need some work with the backgrounds. The cloud seems to be too low and looks pretty small, I'm not sure if its a cloud or smoke or if it was intentional. Rockman's/Megaman's cannon arm should be shown more into the from image because it kinda took me a while to realize that it is his cannon arm. Other than that good job, you're improving. I suggest you spend some more time on your drawings and do a little bit of research on backgrounds, the use of space, and trying to get that dynamic feeling in your drawings.
