I don't really know anyone else bar me and some friends who watch anime tbh. I know my parents are fine with it as my dad used to work in the merchant navy 20 or so years ago, went to Japan once or twice a year and had no problems with anyone or anything from Japan :)
Not sure what they think of my anime/manga collectables though, but thats a whole different story I would've thought xD

There are hardly people on this country who watches anime... and they call anime "cartoons". >_>

My dad has occasionally helped me look for rare h-animes when I'm trying to find obscure titles to download. Does that count and is that creepy enough? :P

Yes... that's what we will call it.

My dad used to watch DBZ with me and my brother on the weekends when we were younger, but he played many video games with us. He essentially got me and my brother "overly" addicted to them. My mother doesn't care about anime or cartoons or video games other than Tetris.

My mom used to watch ghost in the shell (well them movies, when they first came out).
She doesn't watch anime that often anymore, not since dbz on toonami.
My uncle was a fan back when he was in college. Not sure if he'll still watch out now though.

I assure all you guys that there are far more "Mature" anime fans than you think. Personally, I'm about to turn 61 and have an extensive anime collection. My wife and adult daughter are also big fans as are quite a few of my friends ranging from their 30s to 60s.
You just don't see many of them on forums and boards.
