Might even notice that I never said that you referenced beating her viciously, I merely pointed out that if you go overboard with defending yourself it stops being self-defense. I'd also like to add that by even saying to back hand or physically hurt someone weaker then you is cowardly, this is obviously all my opinion so don't get butt hurt. But to me pushing someone back who is weaker then you is adequate, especially since if you are stronger then them your push should knock them to the ground and take most if not all the fight out of them. If it doesn't, and they get up wanting to fight, just defend yourself by blocking/dodging their attacks, no need to hurt someone if you can avoid it.

Seriously though, it proves nothing hurting someone weaker then you, by being the bigger person and not beating someone who you could easily beat you're making the other person look even more foolish then if you actually hurt them.
