Toronto - Man, this team should be fighting with Atlanta for 4th man, at least the 5 win streak kept me happyToo bad the Raptors are underachievers just like every single Toronto team. Man, that team sometimes looks like championship material and other times they drop games to the weakest teams in the league.
I'm pretty sure they'll follow that win streak with another losing streak. Bosh will be gone after this season and every Toronto sports fan will go into a deep depression. Dark times ahead especially when the Leafs could be the "best" team in town.
Book it!
Toronto is historically awful on defense. They have a high post 7-footer who can't guard anyone in the low post and is a mediocre rebounder, a slow unathletic SF, and Jose Calderon, hardly a stopper. Even CB4 isn't really very good on defense. They'll make the playoffs thanks to the weakness of the East after the top 4, but I can't see them winning a playoff series against any of those teams unless some massive trade or injury reshapes the landscape.
I don't have a good handle on the Bosh situation, but many people think he's fleeing Toronto if they don't make a deep playoff run, which most likely won't happen. If so, they should think about dealing him now, crazy as it sounds. They won't of course, cause the GM wants to keep his job, but it would suck for basketball in Toronto if he leaves and they're stuck watching Bargs and Hedo lead the team to 20 wins next year.
Oh man, Leafs being the best team here will be dark times indeed.
We need to deal Bargnani for a defensive C and Calderon for a good back up PG. Jack has been playing good defense when he started Starting in the Point position.
But anyone saw happen yesterday? Nate Robinson 41 points after being DN-CP for 14 games.

Yeah, It's frustrating watching the Raps play defense. They alwas choke good leads away and they're way to soft on the boards. Every team in the league beats them to it.
The Raps should change their style of play to one that relies on speed and fast breaks. Since they suck on d, scoring in bunches will even that out. Just like the Phoenix Suns and the good ol' days of Vince Carter.

Dude, it would suck even more than that. The Blue Jays just dealt one of the best players in history away. Bosh leaving will be another BIG blow to the Toronto sports scene. I wouldn't be surprise if people stop supporting the teams for a while until they're serious about winning.
The Jays are gonna be horrible next year (100+ losses is expected). I probably couldn't take the same from the Raps. One worthless team is enough for me.
And yes, Bargani was the worst choice ever. We could have gotten Brandon Roy that year.

Oh man. Blue Jays fucked up on that one. I love Roy Halladay, he was one of the icon here in Toronto. If Bosh leave Toronto sports would suck even more.

The Eastern Conference is whack. When the Bulls at 20-22 are under 500 and have the 8th seed and a team barely at 500 is the 7th... >_> In the west, The Clippers who are 20-23 at the 12 seed with the top 11 teams all over 500... Lol.

I'm surprised no one is talking about the Playoffs. Especially Cleveland being knocked off by the Celtics or the Suns making it to the conference finals or even Lebron's elbow.
I'm going to root for the Suns anyway. I want to see Nash win a championship. He's been the best point guard for a long time and I really think he deserves a championship. It'll be tough against the Lakers though.

I'm with you. I'm a Cleveland supporter, but now that they are out, I'm pulling for the Suns. Steve Nash is one of my favorite players to watch and one of the most intelligent and classiest players in the league.
I don't know what happened with the Cavs. Maybe LeBron's elbow was worse than he let on, because he did not play well at all. Last year, he played out of his mind against Orlando and they lost because Mo Williams is useless. Of course, Mike Brown also horribly miscoached the series and played the wrong players, but it wasn't even that close. Oh, and Mo Williams is still useless.

I think Lebron's elbow is overplayed. He shouldn't have said anything or made such a big deal about it. Kobe gets hurt sometimes, but he never says anything about it. He never says that the reason for his loss. He just says he has to play harder. Lebron on the other hand openly has said the injury bothers him. I think that's the difference between Kobe and Lebron. So, I guess the elbow did hurt him, mentally I think. Physically, you should still play as hard as you can, but he didn't. He really wasn't like the usual Lebron, he lacked energy. Definitely mental.

Anyone hear about the rumor that Delonte West banged Lebron's mom before game 4?
I think its fake, but who knows...google it.
I think Lebron's going to Chicago.

Orlando is down 2-0. That's not a good spot for them. It's looking more and more like the Celtics will reach the finals once again.

True, but don't count out Orlando yet.I'm sure Orlando could pull off a win in Celtic home.A bunch of the Celtic's losses came from their home this season.

No.
Boston won against Lakers in the finals 07-08
LAL won against Magic 08-09
LAL did not win twice in a row against Boston in the finals.
and
Yes,LAL now won twice in a row against Phoenix during the semi.

Definitely mental.Kobe has good enough teammates that he can score 12 points in a game or have one of his not uncommon 10-30 shooting nights and the team can still win sometimes. In fact, at this point Kobe may not even be the best player on his own team anymore(best being defined as contributing most to winning. Gasol scores less and uses less possessions than Kobe, but he is way more efficient and rebounds more. Some analysis sees him as more productive than Kobe at this point). If LeBron doesn't play a good game or at least a decent game by his standards, the Cavs lose. That's always how it has been. If LeBron scores 12 or shoots 10-30, it's up to old man Shaq(gulp!) or Mo Williams(double gulp!) to pick up the slack.
That being said, the Cavs clearly gave up at the end of the game. However, LeBron was plenty "aggressive," the Celtics just played good defense and his aggressive plays often ended in turnovers or missed shots.
If I were LA, I would not want to see Boston in the finals. If I were Boston, I would not want to see Phoenix in the finals. And Orlando pretty much looks cooked at this point.

An LA/Boston Final would be nice. If Boston wins, then I've lost faith in my favorite team :(. If LA wins, shut those Boston fans up.
I see the Magic winning a game or two before the series is finished since Boston sucks at home for some odd reason this season. And Phoenix probably going to get swept.

Kobe does have a great team around him, but Lebron has a lot of say in who the team gets. But concerning the game, I really don't think Lebron played like he could. He didn't seem like the Lebron of old. He wasn't running. He blamed his teammates when things were obviously his fault. It was just weird to watch.
I really hope Orlando can win the series though. Same with Phoenix. Wouldn't it be great if the two teams who are down 0-2 can both reach the finals? Someone will come up with a weird stat if that happens. >_<
