Need Advice on which Gundam Model to buy.
0
I Bought a 1/100 Wing Zero Custom (HG) Couple of weeks ago but I finished it in less than 2 hours.
I want to buy another Model but i want it to take me a long time to build cause i find it very relaxing and it clears my mind (Its a Zen thing)
What i would like to know is:
Which model you recommend from Wing, Seed, Seed Destiny or 00?
Which scale would be more complex to built in terms of detail and parts, 1/60 or 1/100? Does the scale matter in that sense?
I'm thinkin of maybe getting the 1/100 Gundam Exia Ignition Mode (MG). But, I'm lookin for complexity in building the model and I wanna Know if theres a better one out there.
Any suggestions??

ok dude
don't matter on the series there all as good as you see them, in other words go for he ones you like the look of
scale - always try to remember the bigger orthe scale the more complex it's gonna be
detail - ok scale has summin to play to this it goes:
1/144 - detail but not much
1/100 - better detail can be made better with markers and paint
1/60 - best detail you can get IMO
please note this is only from personal experience ... plz not i only have 1/144 and 1/100 models the 1/60 is a guess

Q:Which model you recommend from Wing, Seed, Seed Destiny or 00?
A: it depend from your fav series. for me i choose wing and universal century series.
Q:Which scale would be more complex to built in terms of detail and parts, 1/60 or 1/100? Does the scale matter in that sense?
A:It depend.for 1/100 there's HG and MG. and for 1/60 there's PG and HG (big size) >_<'. For HG 1/60, it more complex than normal HG but less than MG.
The best detail and most complex of course PG. But for collection,i suggest MG scale because present MG are look like PG, more kits than PG, and less need to paint compare to HG 1/100
Q:I'm thinkin of maybe getting the 1/100 Gundam Exia Ignition Mode (MG). But, I'm lookin for complexity in building the model and I wanna Know if theres a better one out there.

A: Well, not much kits for 00 series yet, just Exia and GN-X. But i can suggest you THIS.
For gunpla info (that already release) visit dalong.net (don't bother about languange) ^^

if you like the Complexity i would like to suggest Level 3 Kits they took quite some time to build and you need to do plenty of painting and decalling and they are pretty good some example are macross kits from Hasegawa.
MG gundam would take plenty of time to build, Kotobukiya Kits such as SRW and Armored core also takes some time or i would suggest transformable Macross Frontier Kits they are pretty good and currently there is a good sale going on at HLJ perhaps you may consider to buy one of them

GET a Perfect Grade, and you'll know that you'll be spending at least a couple of days trying to build that one.
and a Gunpla that are below MG and PG is made to be easy enough to build.

I wanted to reply to all but oh well. Yes I am gonna go with a level 03 MG model, Either:
1/100 Force Impulse
1/100 Exia Ignition mode
1/100 Strike Freedom
1/100 Red Frame Kai(Astray)
1/100 Infinite Justice( thanks roronoazorro for suggesting it)
@Kaimax I wanted get a Perfect Grade but they are kinda over my budget(00 Raiser looks so good though)
PS:HWJapan better prices than Hlj and they dont charge that much for shipping :D

I only own HG gundams, just because I don't have money. I like building as much as the next person, but it's always about the money.

you know the oldschool zeta gundams that turned into planes in 1/100 were always more fun to build then most of these new ones since they seem to be more detailed and take more time to build because of the more joints and pieces.

out of your selection i probably recommend infinite justice since it is the coolest gsd mecha imo, but if you have abit more budget go for the Hi Nu Gundam or the new released Unicorn gundam.
the thing that i like with HLJ is that they have really great variety of goods since i build macross kits as well(very cool kits) so it is a one stop for me, though i have to admit the shipping cost is really expensive
about HWJapan i never visit there before and kinda reluctant to buy from there, so has anyone of you guys bought from there and got your item?

They are not rare, really common back in Taiwan. I know a lot of good Gundam shops and you can get 1/100 for 10-15 US dollars while 1/60s go for cheap as well. Sad thing about the Wing series is that they are old and look crummy when you finish building them. I recommend buying any series before or after the Wing and G Gundam series, cuz my god G gundam is utter crap as well. But yeah the wing series look really unimpressive compared to other series gundams, but in the end I say buying the old ones from zeta and what not is the best. The old series gundams always look better and just standout as much as the SEED and 00 ones these days.

the bad thing about the endless waltz kits is that the joints are not that strong, some suits lack of articulation and you need to paint more in order to be the same as the depicted model, but i really like my 1/100 gundam heavy arms custom, pretty cool gimmick

But nowadays HG product got proportion like MG, just compare 1/144 HG old X Gundam with new HGAW X Gundam.
And HG 1/100 got better proportion since Infinite Justice released (since i dissapointed with Strike Freedom's and Destiny's body and leg proprotion compare to 2 kits after them, Infinite Justice and Legend)
