Ok, guess I'm kind of an asshole for this...
Me and gf1 broke up after a year of going out.
I acquired gf2.
Then I cheated on gf2 with gf1.
Eventually, I went back to gf1 because I obviously was still crazy for her.
SO THEN this other chick who I was hanging out with decides to fall all over me.
Leading me into cheating on gf1.
I then break up with gf1 for gf3.
Then cheat on gf3 with gf1.
Then switch girlfriends.
Then cheat on gf1 with gf3 again.
Then I was single (or pimpin' however you look at it)(...or a total asshole...)
And now I'm with gf1 for 4 years strong looking to get married after college.
Tell me how the fuck that happened.

Female here. I've been both cheater and cheated on in the past. It was interesting for the most part. Just a few samplings below...
The only xbf I cheated on, he was acting bipolar and pissing me off halfway through our 3mo relationship, also accusing me of cheating on him which I hadn't yet done at the time. So after a while, I did what he seemed to want me to do and slept around with one of my exs (and his most hated rival). He never found out, but afterwards every time he did something stupid, I was a lot less pissed off since I already knew that nothing he did to me would ever top what I did to him.
As for feeling cheated on, xbfs doing stupid things like omissions of guilt. One time I left a party because an xbf's xgf shows up and goes psycho then I find out the next morning that my xbf got a ride home from that very xgf... even though the xbf refused to tell me how he got home. Whatever, I'm not insecure about a bf hanging out with their xgfs, but me catching them lying about it is another thing!
Another xbf and I broke up and he got with his xgf almost immediately, that made me feel cheated on.
Hmmm, what else... an xbf had a female friend crash at our place one night and she tried to go down on him after I left to go out. He rejected her nicely, but didn't tell her to get the hell out afterwards. I'm always cordial to her, even know what happened, but I haven't seen hide nor hair of her since. Maybe she's afraid of me? Naw, I'm harmless! ;)
Had another xbf who cheated on me. We went to a party, played truth or dare (never a good combo) and he ended up making out and going beyond with another guy. I broke it up and made the xbf go home... however I ended up hanging out at the party with an ongoing crush.
Is it still cheating if permission is granted? One time I had an xbf who I couldn't keep up with sexually (work, school, and shitty hours with both) so we laid out some ground rules and he got himself a sex buddy on the side. Everyone was happy until the sex buddy decided she wanted to a promotion. We had to fire her instead.
I don't enjoy cheating or being cheated on, but I can't deny how much it has helped me develop positively. Just my opinion.
