The best thing in the world,
just got better.
http://www.google.com/ -- start to search for something, anything.
Your mind will be blown
Discuss!
EDIT: Yes, yes. It is a very 'Meh.' implementation, and in all likelihood it won't save you an extraordinary amount of time.
However, it is something different. Something I'm sure most, if any, of you have not thought of before, let alone thought it would ever be used.
That is why I love Google. They do shit you didn't even know you wanted until they dropped it at your feet, and backed away slowly.

So much Google hate. It is futile to resist the inevitable greatness of the capital G.
Fine then! Go back to your overly simplified, limiting, and controlling Bing, or the already dead Ask.com!

Google is annoying, but there aren't any other [good] alternatives :(. Microsoft Windows in a nutshell

Linux.
Google only follows what is right in the eyes of the general population. You can't really blame them for something that was bound to happen eventually.
As for Google instant, it hasn't really done anything to increase my search speed. I'm assuming this would however save search time among users with a slow typing speed.

I'm curious as to what is so annoying about google. I never imagined typing something into a box and getting related links to pop up could gain so much collective hate. Convenience sucks! And if you don't find what you want you're doing it wrong.
Google Chrome for life. And Linux is not a good alternative, ever. It's not even an alternative.

Linux is a feral beast waiting to tear off any and everyone's face whom are not worthy of its use.
I can agree, hands down, Linux offers the most freedom(some might argue too much freedom) and ability- however you can just as easily wipe your HD as you can power down.
Therefor- not for the faint of heart.
Agreed, Imnotyourdude. It is confusing as to what it is people claim to dislike about Google... It's not like they're destroying the rain forests, consuming our water/gasoline supplies, polluting the atmosphere, or spamming its consumers with crap they don't want...
Rather, Google is like a butler. A very skilled butler.
Any schmuck can do what you tell them to. An experienced man-servant, however, knows exactly how you like your morning coffee(or lack there of), when you arrive home from work to greet you properly, and how best to identify and deal with your unwanted/wanted calls & visitors.
To best serve you, it must know you.
Though if you just want a schmuck you can tell what to do: a skilled butler can just as easily do that as well.

I kinda liked the original Google, before they removed LWB...Leg Before Wicket?!
But on the other hand, I do like it, but they haven't implemented it on www.google.com.au

Some people call it overrated, and that's cool it may be and it may not be anything to special, but I guess just due to the way I search I really like it.
I use Google so much, and am so impatient when it comes to searching, it's just a nice little thing to have for me.
Other people may not find it useful at all, but like I said I guess it's just me personally, the way I search and all.
