New Mortal Kombat movie?

Ohhhhhh Emmmmmm Geeeeeee!!!

Perhaps my thought about Scorpion is a potential main character got implemented ..

i would watch it with pleasure if it is legit ..

Scorpion as the main character!?! From playing all the games of mortal kombat, The idea of
-Kill-Them-Dead;-"Get-Over-Here"-
Scorpion being the center of attention of the movie. The only downside I see beside what the directer might do, of this is that Scorpion being the main character might start an ugly transformation into a kinda-good main character and that doesn't sit well for me.




Question: How did they catch Scorpion?!? Did he let them???

The games do have alot of gore as I recall. The key subject beside fighting that this two were missing...


It looks more than interesting but I had the same feelings when I hear about the coming of the second M.K. one and feelings got drop. If this M.K. movie sucks worse than the second M.K. (if possible); then, the second M.K. movie would look good which means the first M.K. movie would look like more than a masterpiece of a flick.

There is no way they will be able to make or improve this. To me, it is a one-hit wonder

I kinda didn't want Johny Cage to die though...He was for me the guy that makes MK funny...

Also, I'm a Big Fan of Reptile and I hate what he looks like based from the trailer ( he doesn't even have fangs, instead he has these 'The hills have eyes' mutant teeth. )

i think u are all missing the point this is a teaser with a unreleased date andthay have gotten the characters we all wondered about in the SHIT MOVIES

So far this already feels better than the original 2 movies that were released before. Seeing how they want to take a more realistic approach seems interesting, and hopefully we won't be seeing stupid scripted ballerina martial arts, but actual well done fights. Seeing how they are all human but deformed in some way actually makes this very likable as we return to the original message of the movie "Mortal" Kombat watching humans fight with out super powers might be interesting.

I recently heard that there is a possible release date for 2013. If it is a teaser, then it was worth 8 minutes of my time.

And the actors! Micheal Jai White from "The Dark Night" and "Spawn", along with Jery Ryan of "Star Trek Voyager" and that guy that plays Baraka was also in the movie "The Protector aka Tum Yun Goon", a movie made by Tony Jaa.

If this is INDEED a movie in the works, it has huge potential! Liking it so far.

And just to let you guys know, the ORIGINAL Mortal Kombat game had no story when it was designed, just a plain fighting game (Sub-Zero was the only Ninja, but they copied him and put on different colors, hence Scorpion, Smoke, Reptile, etc).

Well, you know after that another shit movie which i called Tekken ... now i really doubt about quality ..

shoulda have try something new like makes Mortal Kombat more realistic and using bad guy (by default) for main character
why cannot we think that the main character is the real antagonist here ?
or perhaps, that movie try to do different approaching ..
like Reptile isn't a green ninja .. Shang-Tsung looks like a Yakuza, Johnny cage died by Baraka ~ etc etc ..

maybe they just need Mortal Kombat names and the rosters ...
but the story will be different ..

yeah, in short it is just a comedy to me ...
i would suggest not to watch if you like the games ... you cannot expect much from a movie based from video game ..

From what I know this is an actual movie that's going to be released in several years.

It's a promo video to get Warner Brothers to back the movie.

If they made those other two shitty MK movies they fuckin owe it to the MK fans to make this epic one too.
