Scheduled to be released in 2013...meh, my priority right now is the Silent hill 2 movie.

Basically it's suppose to be called "Mortal Kombat Devastation". What they're going to do is restart the story over, but include characters from MK 4 and up to the story. The original dude who played Scorpion in the first movie is rumored to return.

From what I gathered, they took a more realistic approach to the series, which is cool. However, they made sure to keep some of the mysticism of the series which seems like a nice compromise ("too much realism" and it ends up like the Chun-Li movie, "too little" and it turns into another MK:Annihilation).

I think this gonna be something different from the game but without check all the movie, nothing big can be said.
