Okay, try this again...

Tch, only satisfies the condition to prove my point.
Anyway, I created a thread a couple days ago about me leaving, only to hear from someone that it is in a quasi-state of non-existing, so I'll create another one because I hate it when regulars just disappear without telling anyone. I refuse to do the same.
So, like I said before I'm outta here. I haven't been very active the past few months and for the last couple of months I've been very displeased with the way Fakku is being handled. I'm going to refrain from being the asshole I am when leaving forums in the past, so I won't be complaining and bitching like I have a tendency to do. I'll just walk away from this one, quietly.
Later.

I haven't talked with you much, but if you ever decide to come back..
We're here.
See you around, Tsurayu.

To the above, don't be an asshole. To the creator, its a shame you didn't bitch and complain, if your right then people might start thinking. People should do that more.

[font=Verdana][color=green]It's a shame to see you leave; but you gotta do what you gotta do. If you really do have a problem though, you should really at least try to explain the problem at the very least. It's even more immature by bringing something up, only to say "Oh, but I'm not going to be an arsehole by talking about it".

I should at the very least stay around long enough to explain that and answer questions.
I won't go into details because it would lead to me naming names and what they are doing that upsets me. I'm just taking issue with a few members of the staff and the way Jacob is handling the forums in general. I should man up enough to talk to Jacob about it, but I don't feel like it would accomplish anything. One point in particular I am fervent on and I won't stay if it doesn't change, and Jacob has no reason to change the way he handles things just because I won't budge on something.

I'd rather you put down your opinions of fakku.
It could be used as criticism, but if it is just mindless, ignorant bitching then please refrain. Although that's all the internet really is these days.
Sorry i didn't see much of you. Have a good life.

Mustn't Run Away...
Well...sucks to see you go ,but by stating you have an issue ,and then leaving without really explaining your grievance kinda makes it seem like you're attention whoring...which is a real shame cause I feel like what you have to say may ACTUALLY be productive ,and not just more mindless bitching.

"im always cute"
Making a thread doesn't exactly meld with the statement "leaving quietly".

Okay, you've guys have me there. I didn't want to butt heads, but considering that it is a moot point now there is little point in trying to mince words. Should it cause a problem someone can edit it out, and it won't be of any consequence to me or anyone else.
Basically I don't like the way the staff is handled in any facet. Granted I don't really know how it works, but what I do know is that there is very little community involvement when it comes to how staff members are chosen, and that really bothers me. Yeah, I'm sure Jacob knows what he is doing and fully trusts who he chooses to be staff, but I don't like how it is just sprung on the forum community (can't speak for what goes on with Skype/IRC) without discussing it with the members first. That isn't to say that I think Jacob's way of doing it is wrong, but it just isn't a way that I like at all. It's bothered me ever since I started learning how the inner workings of Fakku tick, but really came to a head by springing Kenjugs and Tegumi seemingly out of the blue, and by extension the same thing happened with Waar and TheDarkStar. It left me feeling really disjointed. It is just a fundamental way in which I operate from Jacob. Nothing wrong with it, but it bothers me. Shallow? Maybe, but we all are sometimes.
Okay, now I'm going into dangerous territory, so if you don't want to read it then don't.
One: Kenjugs. I'm sorry, but who? Like I said, I'm sure Jacob knows what he was doing, but I wasn't the only one on the forums with that reaction. I don't like the idea of having to learn to respect and trust Kenjugs, that should have been done before ever being made a moderator. I have no idea who Kenjugs is, and I'm suppose to just trust him as the moderator of the forum I frequent most? Nuh-uh, not gonna fly.
Two: Tegumi for Serious Discussion. I will admit I was unhappy with the decision to make Tegumi and Waar moderators, but I've come to trust and respect Tegumi's decision and her knowledge of technology. I don't personally care for the way she moderates, but I won't say that it isn't effective because then I would be lying. That said, I don't think that style would work for Serious Discussion at all. People are high-strung (albeit usually civil) and very opinionated in SD, and that clashes with Tegumi's style to a tee.
There. That's about as civil as I can be without mincing words. I won't lie and say that is all, but what I do have left is exactly what people are telling me not to do and that would be bitching, and I agree. Not bitching in the sense that I believe it only because I hate someone or something as a principle, but bitching in the fact that it is something I feel solely based on my feelings, and nothing to back them up with.

Got to be part of Jacob's inner circle.Waar is going to come in here and try to disprove me complete or say that I'm lying, however, it's come to my attention he is completely ignorant and the worst mod I've seen on any forum.
I'd love to see waar striped of his title, but Waar has cute sleepovers with Jacob, and Jacob wouldn't do it out of pity from their friendship.
Reply if you want, I won't. I'll let you have the last word. I just wanted to say what I wanted to say. Don't care if you're insulted, don't care if you get on the defensive. Don't care if you kick me from skype, w/e.
This post will probably get deleted.

Well, that's unfortunately part of the bitching I was talking about, but I'll just try to say it in a way without being insulting, and if comes off poorly then it comes off poorly.
Basically I really hate that Waar is the little devil on Jacob's shoulder. So many people see it. Reminds me of the saying, "If so many people know what you do not see, what room do you have left to deny?" I'm sorry, but I do believe there is a conspiracy that Waar runs this site just as much as Jacob. There is a difference between Jacob and Waar being close friends and staff members, seeing eye to eye; and Waar getting what Waar wants.

Stand
Sorry to see you go, etc. Time for me to step in.
I really have no idea what any of you are going on about. Members are members, and staff are staff. Staff are trustworthy people that have a job that they need to do. Just because they don't have an overwhelming presence on the forums or what have you doesn't mean they aren't right for the job.
Why would Jacob discuss who he should pick for moderators with the members? That makes absolutely no sense. That's like if I owned a company and asked the workers if I should hire a supervisor and if it was okay with them.
As "out of the blue" as it may seem to you, we are constantly talking about things such as this. But like I stated earlier, why would you know about it? These are our decisions, not yours. We put lots of thought into things, especially mod decisions.
Gugu, you honestly make me laugh and will probably make Waar laugh when he reads that.
How do you think Jacob became our friend? He didn't suddenly say, "Hey, you guys are my friends and now you are mods." Maybe you should stop trying to be such a rebel and wanting to break the rules and just be a cool guy, which you can be.
Not only that, half of the mods I don't speak to on a daily basis, hell, even weekly. Do I consider all the mods my friends? Yes, I do. But some are a lot closer than others. Do I tell Waar to fuck off when he makes bad decisions? You can bet your ass I do. Jacob does the SAME EXACT THING. You really need to stop thinking you have things figured out when you don't.
tl;dr : We know what we are doing. We put thoughts into our decisions. We are the staff, not you.

I can say "why wouldn't he?" just the same. I didn't say that I thought Jacob's method was bad, I just don't like it. I prefer communities where the members are involved, in some manner, as to how, when and who become moderators. Fine, that's the not the way that it works, and likely never will be. I didn't say that thinking I was going to make it change, or to argue that it was a poor method.
And of course I don't have things figured out, it was an assumption. Never once did I say "I know this and this is happening and I don't like it." I'm speaking from assumptions and what I see. Sure they may be wrong, but don't think that as the staff that you guys aren't at least partially at fault for that. Here is another assumption, you should really think "Hm, maybe something should be done about how the staff relates to the members so misunderstandings like this don't occur."

I too agree about the Kenjugs thing. I don't think ive ever seen a single post of kenjugs anywhere let alone the video games section and that's not even half the problem. First off the video games section doesn't even need a moderator, nothing ever happens in that section that seriously would even hint to the consideration of the need for moderating. I really don't see any point in this title being given to anyone at all.
And SD? How are you even going to moderate that? The forum is made for subjection and opinion, of course people are going to be offended. I very much doubt that Tegumi of all people has a level enough head and a strong enough feel of non-bias to warrant such things. If people feel that other people have gone too far to the point of personal insults then there's a report button for a reason. The global mods should be more than enough to handle that.
And Mike you're making an analogy between how a hentai forum and how a cooperation runs? You surely can't be serious?

I remember when I used the username Longevity.
I kinda miss it.
This thread is also a very funny read. I remember I didn't get to become mod of food and cooking because I'm a dick at least to some people and also Waar said "Nay" but we discussed it and me and him have no beef we in fact are buddies or at least not enemies.

I hope you don't leave completely. I've always enjoyed reading your posts as I've been lurking for quite a while. I understand where you're coming from as so many I'm sure do. A lot have left Fakku for those reason you stated, but I feel that abandoning a forum after having spent this much time interacting with it's community would be a waste of my and your time over the course you've been here. Sort of the "Gone too far to go back" saying. That's just how I see it.
If you do decide to leave know that you will be missed.
