Wish I still did it to be honest. I don't have access to place where I used to do it.

Parkour is one of those sports I wanna get into.
In High School I wasn't ever big on Football, but I did dominate in badminton lol. Besides I don't care for mainstream sports.

I remember practicing parkour with my friends in the parking lot behind our highschool. We honestly sucked.

I need to start again. Been a while. My recent bouts of moshing activities have made me want to be active again. I'll get my bro and we'll get on it.

I was proficient in it but injured myself last time. while leaping from a fence to a roof, I slipped and smashed my chest into an AC unit and banged up my knee when I landed so its been a good 6 months since I last did it. But I am excited to get running again so hopefully the next few days will be nice.

I am doing Parkour / Freerunning for about 1 1/2 years now, and I find myself enjoying life a lot more somehow. To me It's not just doing flips and jumping on roofs. It's more of a challange to see what I'm actually capable of doing and to test my limits. It also helped me to see life a bit less complicated and to attack problems with the mentality of overcomming an obstacle and gaining some sort of experience out of it, rather than just trying to get it done as quickly as possible.

I've been into parkour since I was a teen, but to me it was more about fast travel than showing off and flipping through the air. I lived in a remote suburban area where taking the bus would cost me, so I would run instead and eventually got into the vaulting, obstacles and got myself running to and from school instead of taking the bus. Though it's not possible for me to replace public transport with running now, I still try to run when I can albeit I'm very lazy and only do it when the opportunity arises. When it comes to this form of parkour, to me rather than carrying the muscle mass, it's more about stamina and being capable of moving your body fluidly and keeping solid balance, and it's helped me stay in shape.

I haven't done any kind of workout since I got back to the states. I'm thinking this will be it, as soon as I find my shoes again.
My partner moved off, is there anybody who knows good spots around Tacoma, WA?

I'd really love to get into free-running, but it scares the hell out of me. I tried it out one night with some friends that had been doing it for a while and I bitched out of too many things.

Our group got into a situation with the security. should we had ran away or leave the spot on their terms(not like ban forever)
