i remember when i was child i used to steal some rambutans from my neighbour
ahh.. the red hairy fruit taste so good..

Now that i look at the wiki articles they are the same botanical family!

We have a tree of this in our front yard, when it's in season it takes a lot of effort just to prevent the neighborhood kids from stealing these. :3

Rambutan... So sweet.
Yet sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between them and Lychees when they're in your fruit soda.
Ice cream soda with a few rambutan, pineapples, mangoes and other assorted soft fruits go great together.

in my county, Indonesia rambutan is kind of ordinary fruit, sweet, yummy,Delicious. even i had it in my yard.

love rambutans...my late grandpa have few rambutans trees at his backyards...he always get the rambutans for me and my siblings...those were the days...8)

Sadly the only time i eat rambutan(or lychees) is when im in the philippines cause our local markets dont really carry them and most of the time they arent good if they do.

i love this too! my dad is obsessed to make a rambutan and guava farm, my house now surrounded by these trees....
