Hells yeah! I second that! In Shippuden, Hinata became hotter while still retaining her cuteness.

Tegumi appeantly likes shooting guy's hearts outta the sky...My girlfriend was bookwormyish. I actually start to talk to her cause I felt "sorry" for her, like I was so high and mighty that I was trying to be her friend cause she didn't have any.
Welp, it turned out she was just a person with alot of interest, so she didn't have time for a lot of friends, but she knew how to do a crap load of things like skii, fence, business oriented, solve crazy ass math problems (she actually finds high level math FUN! WTF OMG BBQ!?!), and she loves to dance.
I told her that the reason I first went to talk to her was because I thought she could use a friend. She said I looked like the one who didn't have any friends XD.
I guess my point is they are out there, but you have to understand they aren't 2-deminsional people. They're probably not just shy/quiet girls spending all day in the library, and if you meet one and treat her as such, she probably isn't going to like you (see several post by ladies on this thread for reference)
So what happened? Did you start dating? Are you still friends? Sorry it's just that seems like something that would happen in a shoujo manga and my inner squee is coming out.

They exist but they probably have social anxiety disorder.Thats pretty true. If you're into that type, you need to be prepared to deal with either ugliness or (with the cute ones) some of the personality issues that come with shyness (depression, social anxiety, insecurity, etc)
Speaking from the perspective of a reasonably cute nerdy girl (with glasses), If you find one, you should have confidence to make up for whatever she might lack. So that means approaching her and just being interested in her as a person. Cute girls like that usually end up with a bubble around them, because most people are scared off by how unapproachable they are. So... If you can muster up the balls to talk to them, theyre usually pretty grateful and receptive. But dont be creepy. Act normal at first, and then *slowly* start making your interest known.
I know that a lot of my beautiful friends have gone out with some guys that weren't worthy, just because those guys were the only ones that ever asked them out. So, if you're a nice person as Im sure you are, it will go even better. Dont be afraid!

Agreed I would like to hear the rest of this too.

I can't wrap myself around the fact that dating nowadays is a constant game of cat and mouse. Either you kiss her ass or have your balls stepped on lol.

Just thought I'd let you know, being klutzy usually interferes with cooking skills. There will be a big mess and sometimes the chance of fire IRL kitchen situations. This is from personal experience... I've set a few things on fire before.

Why is being a klutz 'cute'? It's kind of an insult to us real-life klutzes since we're the ones who end up with the sprained ankles, the scraped knees, the blame for broken glasses and pots, etc...
Sorry, I'm just feeling bitter because you don't seem to understand how people who are not klutzes are actually the ones who lead better(or at least, safer) lives.

Wow looking through this thread there really does seem to be a bit of a guy backlash going on. Yeah some guys out there are shits and go for the shy, glasses girl because they think they will be easy, but we're not all like that, please dont treat us all like that before you even know us.
Shock horror there are actually still guys out there who want to fall in love and be a decent partner and have a good life, theyre just often not the ones in the spotlight, sometimes theyre the shy ones who arent going to just jump out at you.
My best mate is a good example, I had girlfriends before him, while he wasnt having any luck and it took him a long time to get noticed by the girls, despite his best intentions, because he was never the exciting type or the best looker, but now he's in a long term relationship that doesnt look like its going to collapse anytime soon.
Me, I like the shy, relatively booky, glasses girl; fancied one like hell all the way through high school but never asked her out because her friends quite solidly told me she wasnt looking to date anyone. Saw a uni picture of her a couple of years ago and she was still similar and looked even more incredible. That said, glasses girls can be a bit polar, some girls look great with them, some don't, but the girls that work with them really can look incredibly cute, I certainly wont laugh at a girl because she's got them, although some might.
I guess the stereotype appeals to me because the girls come across more down to earth, honest, approachable and intelligent than the much more common over-makeup'd and dolled up laddette girls you see more often in the UK these days. I feel like Id probably get much better conversation if nothing else.
And for the record I am also the sort of guy who would be very happy to meet the right lady and settle down, rather than messing around through the rest of my twenties and thirties before even considering it, and unlike the stereotype, have pretty low interest in one night stands. I dont need any one common hobby or the same sense of humour in a girl, as long as we gel. Guys like us do exist.

What the hell are you talking about? Kissing a girl's ass? Girl's are attracted to assholes, I know, I am one. Treat them like you don't give a shit about them at first then slowly "open up" and become more "sensitive", they eat that garbage up.
Boom, relationship advice of the day, FULFILLED.

you know the sad part about that advice is that it works 90% of the time from the start of high school , right up till the end of college...

What can I say, my advice panders to the demographic here. Teenage girls and early 20s aren't interested in some dogoody snuggle fest that young, least not the girls these guys want to get with. They're too busy trying to figure out how to boost their self esteem and match that sweet glamorous life they see on tv. So trust me, what they want you guys aren't selling. Change it up.

I don't go after the shy types because their easy. Its just something about them that you find extremely cute. A person who you want to take care of.

Don't worry Hun. We do exist!! You don't think we exist because you're looking in all the wrong places. haha! ^^ We mostly lurk in the shadows...like ninja. xD In honesty the reason you don't notice us is because we are shy. We don't pop out to men like the other girls. When we do it's when you guys become mature and want to settle down. Don't worry we can wait!...lol
