Reasons why you lost your friends

The friends I made back in elem-Middle school I lost cause I moved away. I have em on my facebook, but we don't talk much guess cause its been so long. The friends i made in Highschool I stil have my small group, but like a bunch of the others is cause i moved away or they moved themselves..

This thread is depressing...

I just read all of the posts here, and there are some really sad stories.

There should be a "how you gained a friend" thread, which would probably produce some pretty interesting and lol-worthy stories... maybe.

Too busy, period.
As much as I liked talking to people, I feel an arrogant vibe from them that they seem uninterested; I was fed up with it and just stopped. I don't normally hang out with people unless they're outgoing and don't give a damn about the small details. But most of the time, I'm always busy at home or at other places I want to hang out by myself.

Sounds like a good idea to me ^_^. I gained this one friend by getting in a big fight with him in PE over a basketball game. After that we were friends through out all of my years in middle school until he moved to South Carolina.

I have a sad one.

They stopped talking to me because of my love for hentai.

Except one. She is still my friend. :D

One dude said he "could not continue our friendship" Strictly because I was not friends with all of his other friends.

I don't have a problem making friends, I just have a problem with keeping them. I'm an honest person and I don't give a fuck if you can't handle the truth. As far as truth is concerned, I don't care if everyone hates me. A true friend accepts the truth, even if it destroys everything they live for.

I have some "Trust" issue ...
No wonder one of my friend have said this to me ...
"You are just too cold and skeptic"

Overall, i'm not a good one.

How I met most of my Highschool friends were funny.

Elaborate, please! I'd actually like to hear in more detail Captain Badass' drama, too, even though it's a "lost my friend" story.

I lost one one friend of my own accord. Told 'em if I had the chance I'd kill 'em.
The other ones are either I moved away, they moved away, or we just drifted apart.

My Best Friend Derek, who liek a brother too me. I met in our 7th period hsitory class. I had just moved To VA So i had no friends and was just starting my freshman year. So I sat behind him in class and I was looking around, Then i noticed his shoes were different but familiar. Then i remember, they were soap shoes, the shoes Sonic wore in Sonic Adventure 2. I tried saying hi, but i was shy and very quiet so he didn't hear me. A couple days later we ended up being partners on a project, my binder was was covered in Anime and Gundamn model kits booklets. So he asked if i liked anime and that how a friendship was born. Told him later on I tried to talk to him cause of his shoes.
My 2nd friend Alex I met on the school bus, Kenshin was airing on Toonami. So one day on the school bus home, he as talking like how Kenshin did in the dub. After a bit I turned to him and yelled "I Hate you for talking like Kenshin!" Sat back down in my seat, then we started talking about anime and we became friends.

Those are the two I remember the most, the others just came to me out of no where.

So long as you're being yourself, you don't need to concern yourself with how others perceive you. The most hated person in the world is happy as long as he/she is true to him/herself.

Lol! ^_^ It's cool that you can remember exactly how it happened because I sure as hell can't remember how I met most of my high school friends.

That's my ideal right now...

Lol, if by friend you mean classmates or people who lived nearby...

because we did a piss job bonding with each other. Real friends, I never lost 'em.

Most left the neighborhood and move to a variety of counties, some got married.
