Recent "Oh SH*T" moments

Well, today at work I left my handbag sitting where I usually do, and then a while later was trying to figure out where a very vague burn-like smell was coming from.

Checked the heater in the back and asked the caterers (I work at a place that has a kitchen) if they had anything going, no sign.


Turns out it was the contents of my bag, heated up due to the vent beside them. Derp.
Melted a small stick-type perfume pencil and some mini York mints.

Was playing with my ring on my fingers, then it flung off and was too lazy/tired to look for it. In the morning I noticed the carpet was clean and figured it'd been hoovered, then panicked it'd been sucked up.

Turns out parents found it on the floor and put it on top of the Wall Unit.

Everyday, for the last week or so, when I am about to fall asleep, I realize.... How much of JS I studied and how easily I was side tracked into forgetting....

Just remembered through typing this... Dammit...

Just this week when I was finally about to enjoy the fresh outdoors outside, I just realized I had accidentally locked myself out without a key home. So I had to break into my own house 20 minutes later in order to stop the frying pan from burning my dumplings. What a great day that was as I tried to explain to the authorities why I had to break into my own house.

Not too major, but earlier in the week I realized it was 4 in the morning, and I had a 9:00 stats exam. Oh sh*t. No sleep and statistics don't tend to mix well.

While I was eating lunch in a restaurant with my best friends, one of them accidentally dropped her phone. There was a big crack in the middle and aside from opening it to see time, she can't use it anymore.
I instantly started making fun of her and how amazing it is to have a phone. I was even sending messages in front of her. She was a bit annoyed.

Afterwards, on our way out while I'm still making fun of her, I accidentally stepped on a slippery patch of ice and almost slipped. The situation was instantly reversed.

Lost my ring again.

Last night I put it on my makeshift mousemat on my bed (which is actually a broken laptop which I don't have the heart to throw out) and forgot to put it somewhere where it wouldn't get lost. Woke up this morning to find it'd gone.

Turns out I was sleeping on it.

Stop taking it off then xD I don't with mine, n mines a freakin knuckleduster :p

I was rolling pretzels at work the other day, and while stretching the dough out and swinging it like usual, I smacked myself in the face with it.

When I slid into a concrete barrier coming back from class.

Got to work when I realized that I left eggs on the oven (while it was still on)...

Probably for me, taking to the road around here at 140, and feeling the ass slide a bit around one of the corners. That was a pretty big 'oh shit' moment. Luckily it didn't lose it. Tail slide in fwd at high speed = bad

It went O.K, the formatting was different than I was expecting which kind of through me off a bit. Over all not to bad though.

OT: Yesterday I spilled a can of Pepsi on my desk, and it ALMOST started dripping into my computer (next to my desk on the floor). Luckily I managed to catch the edge of the spill before it fried stuff.

No damage to the body or suspension. Left rear wheel now has curb rash, 90% on the lip. :(

Do you have mags? Or was it the s14 stockies? If it's the stockies, that's not too bad

Ah well, not too bad. Thank god they aren't super rare, or massively expensive.
Gutter rash is fixable. What colour? If they aren't already white, fix the gutter rash, and paint them white ;D
