Role-Playing on FAKKU
If a Role-playing sub-section was created, would you be interested?

That's cool, all I intend to do is help anyway. But I dunno yet whether I'll take a role or not for sure. It depends on the overall mechanism he comes up with for the RP itself.
You are always welcome to help and you don't need to be a co-GM to do so. I recommend you take a passive RP role if anything comes along because you sort of do have two RPs that you are leading in addition to developing a third. Careful not to bite off more than you can chew.

Well, as people have already said, it would definitely need its own set of rules for the section itself, and the RPs. I enjoy RPing myself now and then. But, odds are, I'll end up playing a more comical, maybe fourth wall breaking character, and do a lax paragraph or two. As opposed to people that have, say, really in depth characters and can shit out eight or nine paragraphs no problem. I'm not really sure of that explains what I'm getting at. Fuck. I'm so tired. ;~;

Well, if he's serious, I could pop up as Co-GM to lend a helping hand because something tells me that he may be inexperienced, so I'm gonna try and help with making the flower bloom properly. ;)Though I may not take up an actual role. Just for providing with ideas and stuff.
I think if he (assuming they are a 'he') has the ability to develop that story plot, he has significant ability to take his RP seriously and develop it as such on his own. I might recommend he participate in one before he starts one, however.
I personally would never consider someone who provides ideas and support a co-GM (especially if they don't plan to participate with an actual role). People who provide ideas and support are called a community. After all, no one knows more about what they want to RP than the RPers themselves. The DM is just a catalyst for their creativity.
Thanks for the advice. I was actually thinking of doing that when I came upon this thread. I thought I needed to figure out how it works and it is as you say. Players can either be Light or Fire and I will mostly be the role of the Darkness.

This is an excellent way to hone writing skills, develop unique characters and grow as an artist, that being said, don't fuck it up by trolling.

Can't I be Darkness? I've always wanted to try and be an Evil Overlord thing(played too much disgaea and phantom kingdom)

Well I was thinking about letting some people join the Darkness. The Dark Realm buffs for people are pretty good because they have almost Wolverine longevity, superhuman strength, and access to powerful death and dark magics.

Damn, that sounds so tempting!! Well, give me a PM when you decide to make it. I'll play since this one sounds kinda cool. I'll make my character become a big ham going "WAHAHAHAHAHHAHA NOW YOU SHALL PERISH BY THE POWER OF DARKNESS!!" or "BOW BEFORE ABSOLUTE POWER! GAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

Doesn't matter. Like Francis Drake said, "Villains perish in a laughably pitiful way but reaches the end with the best ride"

I think at this point the vote is unanimous, LET IT BE DONE!!!Unfortunately, Jacob had said this near the beginning of the month.

There are no plans in the immediate future to make an RP section, maybe down the road (we'll see). For now, RP topics belong in the writing forum.

I think it would be a good idea, i am up for it! However, we will need to keep in check three things:
>The people who ruin the story for fun
>The RP's dedication
>Fun <---MOST IMPORTANT!!!

Making a RP section sure is hard,
let's give admin time to work it out=)
(but can't help to be excited though!)

Some of the users here need to just check out the real RPs on the Writing forum. >_>

Fakku really doesn't need a roleplaying section.
If it gets one,
this'll just become the adult version of GaiaOnline,
nospankyou.

I respectfully disagree, as this has been proven by multiple RPs that this is not the case. I'm slightly disappointed to get this response from a writer like yourself, however. Hopefully reading into this thread and current and future RPs in the writing section will change your mind and your prejudicial assumptions.
