wacom bamboo this the tablet im using. the tablet is the basics of basics but gets the job done for more casual users. im planning to buy a better one once i figure out which one i want. but for the cheap price it has its more for beginners and as gift.
but like i say if you dont know the program youre using a tablet is kind of useless

Q: how to add layers w/o using the "luminous", i mean, if i close and save the half finish work,and wanted to continue coloring it later ,i have to use "luminous" again in order to add layers which will turn the work into black and white.....

what is luminous? and are you saving it as sai

if you're using layers you need to save the image type as SAI to keep all the layers or it'll will save as a single image

how to save it to sai? can you give me the icons/name?
i was using luminance transparency coz i cant add a layer without adding it or dont know how to add a layer w/o clicking on it (i watch a random tutorial in youtube and i just mimic on how he added layers)

but when you go 'save as' the file type should be switched to SAI

Just a technical difficulty on my part.
How do you merge layers of similar colors and yet smear them together? In some samples tutorials, I've seen a clipping button pushed on and off at times.
Another question regarding that, would it be wise to blur the two or multiple similar shades together via Blur tool?
