Depends on how one defines "addiction" (I'll assume we're lumping masturbation in with sex). Addictions usually require negative consequences on other parts of your life and failed attempts to cease the activity. Aside from staying up a bit too late, masturbation hasn't affected my other areas of life and I've never wanted to stop.

what i am dealing with is sexual frustration/im trying to stop using porn i just use it for a sleep aid but if i were to have sex at some point i wouldnt think i could get addicted to it.

And there isnt anything wrong with treating yourself with a little TLC if you get my drift....

I literally hoping to go to another state to relieve myself of my frustrations/to have fun partying back where i grew up

Those people don't know much when it comes to addiction and sex effect's on the brain.
Both food and sex can become addictive, some people have higher rates at becoming addicts than others.

OT: Only addictions I have in internet addiction, and maybe a slight masturbation one that I'm working on. As for the internet one, I gave up.

I am pretty sure I have atleast a mild addiction to porn.
When I was in highschool I was like: NEED SEX ALL DAY but that has very much so died down.
Now I just watch a lot of porn everything from amature and hentai to HD quality that I pay for.
I also read Doujinshi every day and read erotica.

Like, legit sex addiction is a thing. I've read stories about guys buying lots of hookers and women just being whores to anyone so they can get their fix.

I don't have it. I actually have good sexual self-control...most of the time.
