Sick of Lolicon Threads

I've wanted to post about this for some time now, all the things I don't like about pro-lolicon threads:


* Numerous threads retreading the same topic that's been beaten into the ground, it's like 420Chan's music board and dubstep.
* More sub-moronic, typo-laden posts than rational ones
* Counter-intuitive arguments ("If you take away loli, you'll live to regret it")
* Whiny, angry, otherwise irritating sentiment

But more than anything else, would someone out there, please, for the sake of my sanity, just admit that loli is fucking creepy? I don't care how legal or harmless it is, can someone at least tell me they understand why some people want to ban it?

I could care less for it being banned or not. Never been too fond of loli hentai anyway...

Well you are somehow right about that but if you really hate those threads then just don't look at it in the first place.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but this thread is about the whole lot of recent threads about loli and all, and not about that one last thread you're talking about.

Also, don't assume that every forum user is American.

You know what, yes. Yes I do.
I try to practice a small rule, that if what you have to say has already been said by, let's say, four people in a single thread, it's best to just let people know so-and-so summed up your feelings first, talk about something else, or not say anything at all.

Now on top of that, there is a forum rule to post in an existing thread rather than start a new one. There are exceptions for Random and I.B. but there's already at least one loli thread in the serious forum. I know forum rules are followed like highway speed limits, but it's still basic forum-going etiquette.

This thread amuses me. Mostly because of how off the OP is. We have way more anti-loli or "why you like loli?" threads (including this one) than we do random threads where people go "Hey, loli, we love it!" (mostly because there's not much to say there) What does happen of course is that people make anti-lol threads and then everyone who likes loli decides to mock the OP and post loli and defend their loli loving ways.....which is what I suggest should happen here.

You can say loli is creepy all you want. The fact is though that loli doesn't accurately represent little girls and very few (none that I recall admitting it) people who like loli would even consider finding real little girls attractive. Frankly rape hentai is much more creepy as you know...rape is a real thing. Not that I really care if people like it because it's also not real. Guro is at least 10 times creepier than most things you could object to even if only because you have to wonder why anyone is actually into that. And really...I still don't care if people like it (I just feel justified in objecting to them forcing me to see it).

I'll give you some free advice. Next time you're sick of seeing something don't go baiting people into showing you more of it.

Edit: You know...you guys are complaining about a problem that extends to way more than just the topic of loli right? There are tons of threads about the same topics all over the place. Why aren't you complaining directly to Harmonian about his horde of threads that are completely meaningless? Or how about the 10 billion threads in SD about religion? Or whatever.

Honestly, I'm getting pretty tired of seeing lolicon threads every time I log on. It seems like every day, someone will have a new story about how lolicon is being limited or some crap like that. In the end, the result is the same. Loli is being threatened, and people see it as a threat to the amendments and tries to find more people to complain about it.

Can't say I'm a fan of loli. Small child-like figures do absolutely nothing for me. And yes, I understand your concern. But seriously, do you really need to make like four threads a day about it? Can't you just post the stories in one big thread instead? Keeps the forums from being flooded by the same things over and over again.

As Ramsus pointed out, we do seem to have less threads that shout out the love for LOLIS (I, personally don't really adore lolis), and instead have more that shout or demonstrate the hate or anti-feelings for it. But, I must agree it is pretty ridiculous for people to go off on the fact the government is doing what it is doing. It's not like your voice or opinion will change what is happening not just in the US or Japan, but it's starting to spread over the world.

It reflects how often there's new attempts from governments in wasting our tax dollars.

lelouch20 please stop pointing out that nothing anyone says here matters. If people listen to you they will leave and go talk to people where it does matter (not that I think most things you say to people irl matter either) and then it will be very lonely here for Jacob. Think of the poor little Jacobs!
