I'm not sure of the exact focus of all of these threads (I rarely read them, the quantity does annoy me too), but the worries behind them are hardly unjustified. The stereotypical, very young stuff is creepy as fuck, but you perhaps forget that any character under 18 can be considered loli, and under the eyes of the police/jury that can stretch a long way. With specific laws now in place in numerous, otherwise 'liberal' countries, the possibility of large amounts of hentai being incriminatory is pretty troubling.
That's aside from the issues with putting someone on a sex offender's register and locking them up for fapping to cartoons, of course.

While that is a valid conjecture, the topic has been rehashed to death, and the threads aren't that lucid to begin with.
They all follow the same formulaic schematic - namely: Some confused, drooling retard kid bashing things gleaned off 4chan or sankakucomplex into his keyboard, enriched with confused, logic-defying crackpipe "theories". Personally I do not like loli but I do not hate it, it's more of an indfrence to me. I'm actually going to say this in the defense of both sides, so bear with me me and what I say may sound a bit paradoxical/hypocritical.
Yes banning loli would be considered a infringement against the first amendment, but then when you think about it how many times has our first amendment right been infringed upon already that we do not complain about it? Free Speech would entail me to voice out a want to cause physical harm to people in high places of the government, but if I were to do that I would be visited by people in black suits and white vans. This is not a joke, you threaten the president of the united states physically in anyway you will most likely be visited by the secret service. but then it could also be argued against the fact that loli is not covered by the first amendment because the first amendment is as followed.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Granted that not all of Fakku's community is American the site is hosted in the United States and a large majority of it's members are from the US as from what I gather. Based on information from Alexia 34%(majority of Fakku Traffic) is US based.
Moving on, Yes loli is creepy as fuck, but as Ramsus has pointed out so is rape and guro. Why is loli so special? Because to the mundane idiocracy that is a majority of people of the world, I.E. Devoutly religious Judo-Christan's Loli represents CP, CP == Bad.
In short, arguing about loli is like two little boys arguing over who's dad could beat up the others, or arguing about who has a bigger stick. It's pointless as fuck but somewhere someone gives a shit.

Yeah, I've gotten pretty tired of it too. I think people don't realize this isn't the first time discussion has been going around about it's banishment. They never succeeded before, and they aren't likely to now. No point in developing paranoia over the issue. Even if it happens, it happens. There will always be lolicon to get. The day they can effectively regulate the internet is hopefully long after the day I die.

Don't forget that loli can simply be understood as prepubescent girls. And you all know how in 90% hentai they don't portray the pubic hair. Adding the cute looks on top of it, it's understandable that the general public would consider even the most normal of hentai characters an underage, and therefore condemn it.
