While you could just not have sex, birth control works, using safe days works, supposedly spermicide and diaphragms work, there's a whole slew of ways to do it without condoms and not get pregnant.

There's already a thread in this category that somewhat has debunked the safe day scenario, if you're interested look it up. Whilst all of those might work, the condom still remains the most trustworthy contraceptive to use, and even that does not promise 100% safety.

This is in fact also wrong. In older women (35+) with a stable estrus, the clinical basal temperature/cervical mucus method is one of the more effective measures, as the PI of 0.3 indicates.
