I haven't, but I sort of want to see it.. although I remember seeing this video of some guy who was trapped under a truck or something, he wasn't dead but in the state he was in and the amount of blood loss, he was obviously near it. Disturbed me quite a bit couldn't watch the rest.
I'm betting if I see a real murder or hanging video i'll have some sleeping problems like some other people on here. Or i'll just learn to fap over it like I fap over everything else!

I believe I once saw a video of Saddam's hanging, with the mask on you'd just think it was a rag doll or something.

the first supposedly "snuff" film i saw is Cannibal Perox or maybe it was Holocaust anyway, it was then proven to be fake. i was then in 5th/6th grade when i saw it. After watching it, or rather while watching it, i became hungry xD idk why but i wanted meat. aanyway. I was shocked by that movie. after that, i watched several beheadings, hangings, firing squads, suicides, aaand nothing made me feel like what i felt when i watched cannibal, until I found the vid of the 3 man 1 hammer. My stomach was so confused. it wanted to puke, but i was hungry... for meat. xD
ok am I weird?xD

I find it horrifyingly disgusting killing anyone for the sole peruse of selling the video its jusr monstrous... enough said.
Though I find watching Snuff films to be almost as bad as making them, if you actually search for a film that has someone actually dieing in it something is wrong with you. Just the want to see someones death is just horrible; those people should take a long look in the mirror and think about how watching it was wrong, and if you find nothing wrong with it go get yourself some help because you seriously need it.
Not to say that I haven't seen videos of people dieing. On the first day of my first criminal investigation class my professor thought it prudent to show us a video of a man killing himself; there was an important lesson to be learned but it was still pretty horrific. Now I have seen many videos and pictures of people dieing; so I'm much more numb to it though everyone still affects me even if it doesn't show anymore.

for the sole reason of showing the "western world" what they are capable of.well that wont be snuff, snuff's sole purpose is to earn money. not to terrorize just like what happened to the beheaded hostages at iraq. its like ahm i video tape a man while killing him, then sell it to a pervert who likes to watch those kinds of film and fap into it. the video would be a snuff film =O
The only purpose of a snuff film is to document the murder of a person or multiple people. The ends to which it is used are irrelevant. Its common knowledge that criminals will occasionally take something from the scene of their crime as a trophy. Snuff films are, in many cases, an extreme example of that type of behavior.

Disturbed me quite a bit couldn't watch the rest.I doubt it was the same video, but I saw a video with some guy trapped under a truck and he was squirming around. Through most of the video there wasn't too much blood, until the end when his head kind of popped off. Obviously it was disturbing, but it was also kind of entertaining.
I've seen a lot online. Everything is disturbing on some level, but even when I though that something would be too brutal, I've been surprised by how little I've been affected, even when I watched people being tortured. Honestly, I think I could handle watching videos of just about anything, but I know seeing that shit in real life would be on a completely different level.

I say the only time i would watch one is if they died an honorable or really cool death.
Death does not bother me as long as i dont see it outside a video.
Ill have to look into this

btw, check Shabby's thread, there's a movie about snuff in there.Shabby, lol. Still, thanks for the plug! And the video, Dark Side of Porn: Does Snuff Exist, is very interesting and gives a lot of info about snuff films. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the subject.
As for me seeing snuff films, if you define it strictly, then no, I haven't seen a film wherein someone was killed for the sole purpose of distributing a video of someone being killed. I have however seen videos of people dying, for all sorts of reasons. People committing suicide, people caught committing murder on a security monitor or something, people falling out of windows to their deaths, police shooting and killing a dangerous person, a terrorist group beheading someone as a lesson. There's one I remember very well, of a Czech solider (supposedly) having his throat cut by enemies. He made a horrible sound.
The impact of such videos varies. Of course, it's death, right in front of you. If you think about it, really feel emphatic, then every video is shocking and intensely disturbing. But if you expect something spectacular, you'll often be disappointed. Death isn't as amazing as it is in the movies. Blood doesn't always splatter everywhere. There's a video on Snopes, I believe, of a man caught by the police shooting himself in the head when the cops are away. Nothing happens. He just pulls out a gun, sticks it against the side of his head, the gun fires, and then he just leans over, lifeless. It's the same way in a lot of videos - no blood-curdling scream, no flailing of limbs, no dignity or shame. It's a simple loss of life. And I think that's what's really scary about such videos. They show you that death isn't grand. It just happens.

That's inhumane.I am seriously disgussed by that.
I have seen real life death scenes( specially thanks to one of my younger and older cousins) but I hate them.( Idk why the hell does my 14 y-old cousin - slightly emo girl- has a picture of a japanese loli who got stuck in a bus wheel, dead, with her insides out...blood everywhere...)
edit:
It's hard for me to deal with the psicological impact of death. All te things mentioned above ^ are not watchable, for me. Even though I am slightly curious to watch them, they're awfull. "snuff" or wtv, sounds like a whole new definition of repugnant.

Snuff films are cold and deliberate. You'd have to be a cold-hearted son of a bitch to consider anything you see in them honorable or cool.

I think some people watch snuff films or look at gruesome pictures to get a real idea of death. Unless we see it firsthand, death can be a rather abstract thing nowadays. Funerals, for example, seem to be all about covering up death. The person in the casket looks more alive than when they were walking around and talking. We hear numbers on the news, so many died in a car wreck, so many died in a plane crash, but we don't always feel the impact. They're just numbers. It can be hard to admit that life ends when all around us, all we ever see is life. If we never see anybody die, how do we know that it's real?

I get what you're saying. In pictures and videos, there is an element of truth. However, the only way to understand the reality of death is when it occurs right in front of you.

I don't know if its ok to post this here. Hey mods! Feel free to remove this link if you think this shouldn't be here.
Here I share to you the most gruesome snuff video I have ever seen.
WARNING! THIS IS REALLY GRUESOME, DONT DARE TO WATCH IT IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE DEATH IN ITS WORST. THE VICTIM CRIES WHILE HE WAS BEING HAMMERED, AND WHILE HIS EYES ARE BEING STABBED BY A SCREW DRIVER. IF YOU CANT HANDLE THAT, DONT CLICK ON THIS LINK.
