And my response also addresses the comments of other posters-- many of whom did make remarks along the lines "But at some point, men really do need to be men and show those bitches who's boss." However, I also point out that the gender doesn't make a difference to me-- hence the whole "it doesn't matter that the person you hit was a wo/man." Surprisingly, I not only read what OP posted but all the following responses before I decided to write something of my own. I know… I’m also capable of wasting time online.

“That office slut, that office bitch, etc.etc.” - had Pyre backhanded a guy (and it’s the action I disagree w/ anyway), I doubt we'd have those comments concerning his victim’s sexual promiscuity.

I can agree with you on the office slut/bitch part. Misogyny isn't something I support at all. However, everyone has their own opinion, and if the general male population of Fakku see women as less powerful than they are, well, why aren't they a mod like Tegumi hmm?. It's not exactly the entire thread that shares that view, and I don't support those people in any way, their views are not mine.


Pyre-- thank you for taking the time to explain things. I promise I’m not trying to be a jerk to you online… it sounds like you deal with enough of them in real life anyway. :( I just feel bad that you felt as though you had no other options available to you when you smacked that person. By bloodied hands, I meant the blood that had come out of her nose at the moment of impact, if you had ever actually been in a real fight, instead of living in a hole, you would realize just how much damage a hand can do(I should know, getting backhanded, though not as hard as I hit her, was how my father punished me as a child. If I had backhanded her with a gauntlet, she'd probably be dead right now). I highly doubt you've ever had to fight for your life against a drug addict for $5, I highly doubt you've ever been in a real fight at all. And your childish, unintelligent and unfounded response, gives me all the more reason to believe you're a total douchebag, who can talk the talk and never walk the walk.

And just based on the statement that you don't think* a backhand can break 3 of someones teeth, it's fairly obvious you haven't ever been in a real fight. There are plenty of occasions where I've seen an 8 or 9 year old punch a grown man in his face, the old man being drunk and playing around, and actually chip or knock out a tooth.
