I took the master tracks from the original song "Dammit" by blink 182 except the bass track which I left out and recorded my own version of the bass track. I am loving bass so much right now.

Good point, I'll use this as my main thread for all my bass stuff. still need a little more practice but ya I agree with you there.

I have to take my bass in to see what they can do about this crooked fucking knob. I am pissed, I hope they can just pop it off and replace it.

But Slayer, how the hell did you manage to crook your knob? And if it's just the plastic it should be easily mended, you should be able to take it of yourself and just put it back on again.

I'm using my bass BROKEN. Still works fine.
It should be an easy fix though.

I went to the store I got the bass from and the guy there had a look at my knob and played around with it for a bit and afterwards I left a happy man.

OT: I kinda couldn't tell the difference of your playing with Mark's original bassline. But overall, good job for someone who just picked up bass. Keep it up!

That's what I thought too, When I recorded a cover of the original bassline it sounded exactly the same.

Ya my picking technique still needs work, My hand cramps up every now and then. The thing with music is that I feel it and I really get into it when I play.
