God might not have a gender, but if you look at the majority of the world religions, a lot, if not all, of the stories involve deities seducing women, or taking on masculine personality traits. In the instances of female deities, they are usually focused on specific things. Its logical to assume that God, if there is one, is male because males have qualities that are, for the most part, considered overbearing.
