When I used to work at a really busy Subway, I stayed up 24 hours and they called me in for work a few minutes before I was about to sleep. I needed the cash so I said sure.
Lots of caffeine and food kept me going, even though it was a 4 hour shift it killed me big time. messed my sleep schedule too.

Excess stimulation will force your body to draw on energy reserves. If you're trying to stay up you should avoid caffeine, sugar, and anything else that expends unnecessary energy. Caffeine and sugar might give you a boost, but if you're already tired, when you come down from the rush, you run the risk of crashing. You can know any relaxation techniques, using them might help you out, but you run the risk of falling asleep in the process.

5 hour Energy. Hours of energy now, no crash later.Haven't actually used the product but people tell me it works
I took that once, and I seriously felt no difference in my body at all. I used it when I really had to study for a test but was tired from school/work.

You can't "fight" it. I stayed awake for 72 hours before and I just finally passed out in class on my desk. I snapped awake but only because my professor yelled my name.

Longest I ever stayed up without ANY sleep was 3 and a half days when I was visiting family, slept for 27 hours afterward. Last year I was up for 2 days and just staying up with the help of caffeine and I started having auditory hallucinations and felt like I was stoned; an hour later I threw up and then passed out. If you want a surefire way to stay awake and remain energized you should fight a lion, it gets you fucking pumped.
