Even though I've been to multiple beaches in my life, and few to no mountains, beaches still don't feel that worn out to me (if only I actually went with friends instead of family, though). Still, if I ever go to some ski resorts and try out the atmosphere there, I could probably give a straighter answer.

I'll go with the beach because theres a very limited opportunity to eat ice soup and perve over women in tight bikinis whilst you're in the mountains.

[color=red]^What he said without the "goat shit" part, since I never found it. The fresh air + clear water fountain, the "isolated" feeling, and soothing green view around.
Also the night view from the mountain is way better than the beach.

Neither, as far as beaches go I live near on the coast. I choose outback it's good for camping and far from society if needed.

I would go in the mountains since there is more to do and it nature makes me feel so good.
However the beach sounds good because of swimming in cool water.

I'll say beach due to lack of information about vacationing in the mountains.

We have plenty of those mountins arrund here, in fact, I'm living on one.
So I place my vote on beach. So nice to soak in the water and then lie down on a blanket and simply do nothing. *sigh*

I used to live on the mountains but later moved to a bigger city near the sea and I can say the mountains during winter are the best in my opinion. This is because I used to live really close to the ski track and whenever I go back there I can easily go and snowboard which is the best thing to do while in my hometown.

Where i from.. it the same thing. Ocean is 2 hours over the mountains. The only place where you can surf in the morning , ski in the afternoon and eat dinner in the desert.

Fishing in the mountains and rivers/lakes is better then fish off the pier. Only fishing off a pier is free and no license needed.
