The Matrix theory discrining illusion from reality
If we where in the matrix would you want to be pulled out ?

Could the Battery thing really work in real life ?Depends really. Human efficiency in terms of energy is only about 10%, so about 90% is being dissipated as heat. If machines can create some cheap chemically bonded energy that they cannot release by, say, burning or otherwise - it might seem as a legit solution.
Could you explain the chemical bonded energy thing and be a little more specfic.
So do you think we could ever hack the program like in the matrix or do something to that effect ?

Could you explain the chemical bonded energy thing and be a little more specfic.Earth's primary source of energy is the Sun. Sun's energy is being conserved through plants and some bacteria (autotrophs)which put it into complex chemicals like starch, or bark, for instance. The energy is released when these chemicals are connected with oxygen (that's why you have to breathe, basically and that is why wood/petrol burns only in presence of oxygen). As they break down the energy is released and used for growing, mending and reproduction by other life forms.
In short: Sun >>> Plants/Bacteria >>> Animals >>> [machines]
When other life forms consume plants and/or other animals, the energy transfer is not ideal: about 90% of energy is being dissipated as heat and only 10% of what is being consumed goes into mending/growing/reproduction. So a lot of animals are needed to feed a machine and even more plants are needed to feed an animals.
And so: Sun (100%) >>> Plants/Bacteria (10%) >>> Animals (1%) >>> [machines] (9% that dissipated from animals (humans))
Dead plants and animals keep their energy (thus crude oil is used as energy source). If you follow "The Matrix" to the letter, plants are dead and the Sun in obscured in that world, so there is no much use in keeping any biological species alive and rather rely on something more available (Nuclear fusion or fission are logical solutions to my mind).
Compare: Nuclear Energy >>> Heat >>> Electricity
Compare: Carefully sorted chemistry >>> Humans >>> Heat >>> Electricity
However, if there is plenty of plant life around and burning it does not meet your energy consumption criteria, it is an option to invest in something energy inefficient (like humans), to free energy from the plants but not spend much of it for self-sustaining. Yet again, nuclear power is so much less trouble.

So do you think we could ever hack the program like in the matrix or do something to that effect ?Awaking from the matrix is often perceived as awaking from a dream but there is a crucial difference. Whereas mind is not thoroughly studied, we know a lot more about how a computing system can be organized and it depends on this organization, whether we can leave it or not. If we are just "logged in" as users of the program we can essentially "log out" by some means, which, what I believe is explored in "The Matrix".
Again: Human <<>> Machine
If we are defined within the matrix already - there is no way out. We cannot exist outside the program. The most we can do is to cause the program to lag, freeze or crash, but none of that guarantees that you will stay alive to witness it. That also implies that free will in a myth as we are defined fully by the program we are in.
That is: Machine [The matrix [Humans]]
P.S. machines might want to use us as subjects of their experiments as well.

So if we are in a matrix like program in real life Why would we be so limited when it came to control ? I mean where able to manipulate computers already so why would it be any diffrent ? However giving it more thought i actually think that would be a very bad and exstience ending threat to give Humans as a specieas that level of control etc. So why would the options be limited to a program lag, freeze or crash ? Are you just using are computer logic to asses what would happen to the universe if it really is a computer ? If it is a computer then what dose that make humans and life in genral ? Viruses ? bugs ? Script errors ? Oh and we where always in/part of the matrix to begin with
P.S Philpe K dick wrote about a matrix style universe and I believe he thought we where in one in the 70's heres a link Royal randfyin.

I base my logic on the assumption, that the matrix-like world is a typical computer program and humans, as well as anything else, are defined within that program as variables and operations performed on them. Any program can be defined that way. Since there is no obvious extermination of humanity present, I suspect that we are an organic part of this simulation/program, so we are not viruses or bugs. Our extreme behaviors may cause bugs to a matrix program, but this is due to design overlook, rather than to us ourselves.
Our options are limited to lag/freeze/crash, because these are the extreme behaviors variables and operations on them can have. A program is not designed to hold such values of perform such operations, thus an anomaly occurs which is typically manifested through lag/freeze/crash, although it can stay hidden for a long time.
That said, we do not have any real experience of the behavior of any true AI program, so it is difficult to say, whether we exist because the antivirus programs (like natural disasters, plagues, etc) are not efficient enough against us or this is all part of the system and we are predestined in a sense to do whatever we are doing.
If we are - well, we are pretty adaptable program! If we are not - we are a damn good virus!

Honestly I just don't know. I'd try to keep the option open until Grand Theft Auto 5 came out and then trade in this reality for a new one and become The One.

How dose this line of thinking explain the universe and will everyuthing else as well as the end .?

How does this line of thinking explain the universe and will everything else as well as the end?Whatever you happen to experience is a result of a simulation. All the natural forces and Universe formation up to a present day and possibly well into future is being factored into the program. When the simulation is no longer needed - it will just stop. That means in human terms you will "die" in a sense and the Universe dies with you.
A typical simulation would run this way. It would be designed to model a certain process and used to figure out certain patterns and conclude necessary results from it. Simulation is generally finite, so it stops at some point.

So would it be possable for the computer/simulation to provide some sought of safe haven for humans after it shuts down ? Sought of like a storage unit I E Heaven etc ? Or Will we humans just end up not exsisting when the simulation ends ?
Heres a vid link where a scientist talks about the universe more specfically black holes being data banks so essintially data/substance is not destroyed only saved. What do you make of it Royal randfyin ?

Let's see. The program loads into memory. It runs and performs its functions. It shuts down. It is stored somewhere before it can be run. Theoretically, if humans are variables of programs, they are stored somewhere. Therefore they strictly speaking exist although, such existence is just a void. You only "alive" when the program is running. If the program gets deleted - so are you.
In short - you are alive only when the program is running.
The information is stored, alright, but it is not enough just to store information. It is the matter of running it through the program that makes the difference in terms of simulated universes, like the Matrix. Take your computer for example. All the data is stored as zero's and one's. If you just extract all that information you may get something like 010101001000101010111010101010101010101...
That does not mean much at all, until you build a program that would make sense out of it. And this bunch of numbers will only make sense while the program is running. When it stops, these numbers are again meaningless. So, we as information, depend on the program that we are in (the Matrix). If these numbers are put in a different program - the result will be different and "you" in the Matrix will not be the same "you" in a different program.
In short - design of the program matters for you to be you as information.

So in short are you saying the random etc 1's and 0's cannot be completely and utterly destroyed ? Do they exsist forever if the simulation can be rebuild or can they truly come to a state of toatl none exsistience ? Dose this mean Humans have some type of immortality if there program of 1's and 0's cannnot be completly destroyed and wiped out of exstience ?

Although not particularly specific, it gives the first approximation. No information is utterly destroyed, but that in no way means that it is therefore accessible. Black Holes, for instance, contain all the information about everything that it engulfed, that does not mean that this data can be extracted. The fact that you rebuild the simulation does not mean, that you rebuild the information it contained.

All ready seen it man.The show was good but Im just wondering how we know for a fact ndisbutably that information is stored and cannot be completely 100 percent destroyed especially if Humans are in a computer simulation ? I mean what the fuck ? So What if the black hole is destroyed, will the information it stored up begone from exstience ?

There is a difference between being destroyed in a general sense and being destroyed in simulation, if you like. You can make program unsee stuff (alas, not quite working for humans), so it that sense the data is "destroyed". It can always return, but for now, its gone.

Plug out from the Matrix, only to realize "reality" wasn't any different from what you were "dreaming".
