So "the mist"....a movie that came out in 2007. When I first saw the commercial on tv, my first thought was "Oh look, another generic horror movie. Yawn", then paid no more attention to it.
Then a few months later (I think 4-5), I saw that one of my friends had it on dvd. I asked him if I could watch it, and he was fine with it. When I got home to watch it, I was just hoping that it would be AT LEAST decent.
About 2 hours later, I tell my mother and sister about it and plead them to watch it as well, lol. I guess you guys can figure it out; I fucking loved it. I was totally into it, from the opening all the way to the end, it was captivating.
And it actually did something that 99% of the shit horror flicks that I watched failed to do: It was unpredictable. Great script, great acting, great effects/CG...
What's really scary to me right now is this: How long am I going to have to wait until I see another horror film as good as this?
TL;DR? IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THIS MOVIE AND YOU LIKE HORROR FILMS, GO WATCH IT. NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If anything the light is bound to attract them as there's no indication of the opposite, and a car battery won't work forever even if they indeed were afraid of light.

I would have liked to see more of the devestation when this song was playing though.

Usually, I don't pay much attention to horror movies, but this one was good.
I very much enjoyed it.
