The one you have, the one you hope to have or even the one in your wildest dreams.
Vote, rank and discuss.
*Lust and Sex are completely different.
Lust relates to attraction, Sex refers to actually getting some and whether or not it was... You know the rest.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is not about friends, this is about having a lover.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you select other please state what and elaborate. Do not state love. Option 1 and 2 are both love.
I'm intentionally making you choose because love is very vague and doesn't really say much.
Some would agree with me and say that his/her feelings are more important because if I am not loved in return, I shouldn't hold the other down.
Some would disagree and say even if I'm not loved, everything is fine as long as we get to be together.

Trust, in my opinion. It's one of the main principles in a relationship.
Off-topic, shouldn't this be in Love, Romance & Relationships?

the most important thing in a relationship is always the one missing in your relationship, if you catch my drift..
I miss money the most and lust from time to time, so that seems to be most important right now -.-'

Different thing to different people. Open communication is important in mine, because women are born crazy.. talk to me and not to what you thinking about what im thinking. Most of all is that all them are important in a relationship. Lust is more important then sex... i can fuck anyone and feel nothing... if i lust after you... then i want you. It's like fapping... you can fap to the sear catalog and jizz, but once you get hold of *whatever floats your boat* IT'S FUCKING MAGICAL.

Trust and open communication are both the most important things. But I think trust is the most important one of those 2. And thats because if there's no trust in relationship, other things wont work either. Open communication isnt that easy if you dont trust each other, and at least I wouldnt see myself lusting after a person I dont trust. Neither would I have sex with a person I dont trust. And without trust at least other persons feeling are going to hurt, very likely boths. And depending on what kind of trust we're talking about, money things could not work either without trust (for example other being alcoholic and spending all on alcohol and the other loses his/her trust on him/her with money).
And at least to me money is the least important thing. As long as I have a roof on my head and some food to eat, I dont complain. But I've gotten used to that, because my family has always been poor. To people from rich families it might be different.

Trust, always trust.
With trust there is honesty and there wont be that negativity and suspicion that can really hinder a relationship.

Trust without a doubt is important, if people can't trust one another in a relationship then there is a huge problem.

I think open communication is the most important thing in a relationship.
There is no doubt that trust also important but it is hard to trust someone 100%. Well, that is what I think.
I know that no one can trust their partner 100% but even if you trust your partner you will still have doubt in her/him.
(If you've been in a relationship before you might understand better)
As for me trust is the second important thing in a relationship.
Without communication it is hard for a couple be together.
I mean, the situation between you and your partner can be really awkward.
Edit:
Yea, thanks. My fault. I'll be more careful in the future.
Edit:
I'll go with my feelings.
As for your question. *Ahem*
No open communication means no level of understanding.
Most problems in relationships are resulting from misunderstandings because of non open communication.
Of course open communication isn't only words, but eye contact and understanding. But this is something which has to grow... While being in a relationship with each other.
Trust is the mainpart in a relationship, if you dont trust you partner, or the otherway round it is not a relationship based on love anymore.
It is a fake relationship where both are lying to each other.

Oh, you meant understanding. K, now I get it. Still, the poll is flawed: lust/trust/open communication(partly) are feelings, not to mention that I wouldn't get in a relationship (or maintained it) if I hadn't any in the first place.

It makes more sense this way.
If I were to merge them, it'd be one word, love (or feelings, whatever) and then you'll see it getting 90% of the votes.
When two people love each other, the love may be mutual but to each individual, one party's feelings will always be more important than the other. Those who are selfish will love themselves and their own needs more, those who are have stronger feelings of love than self importance will love the other more. There is no middle ground, thinking there is one is self deceit.
For example, when it comes to making decisions and both of you disagree, you have to do one or the other. Even in compromise there's rarely a perfect compromise, one party will usually be at disadvantage. When it comes down to that, do you sacrifice or demand sacrifice? Who's feelings are more important?

[font=comic sans ms]Definitely Trust and Communication. Without one or the other healthy relationships can't work.
