Things that always freak you out in films

Basically, what makes you look away when watching a movie
I generally think my threshold for violence in movies is pretty high, but one thing that i just can't deal with is genital mutilation. Every time it appears in a scene i have to look away

Anything that has to do with eyes. This crosses over into the real world, too. Ommetaphobia I am your bitch.

nope.. pretty much fucked up in the head to be freaked out by films when real life is more scarey.

There's these things, typically in horror movies, I like to call "expected surprises." Basically it's when you know something's gonna come up some time in the situation, but the thing is you don't exactly know when it's gonna pop out. That always gets me.
Natural surprises, like *BAM* it just came out of nowhere without warning whatsoever, I can take.

Knife in the mouth. Namely when it happens in a movie that you wouldn't expect it to happen in. [thanks Pan's Labyrinth -_-]
Anything to do with the eye though it has to be pretty extreme to get me. The very reason I haven't watched Necromantik from beginning to end. [friend runs a meet up called 'The Gauntlet' Its basically the BME Olympics but in movie form]

Caligula had some weird genital mutilation if I recall. Short scene though, and worth the price for an amusing Roman orgy.

Nothing makes me look away. But when things pop out of nowhere with a sudden sound...that always makes me jump.

Not a freak out, but bad shaky camera work forces me to look away lest I hurl.Yeah, same here. But what freaks me out is dolls--can't stand the things.

I have to agree with genital and eye mutilation although the top on my list would have to be horror scenes that occur to people sitting on a toilet. God, I can't shit calmly recalling things like that. I keep having a constant fear of an arm being shoved up my ass and such. No I am not a fan of fisting or surprise butt sex.
