So Mike and I will be giving the Visual Novels and Eroge panel at Tomodachi Fest in a couple of hours, and I just decided that we would talk about the first hentai game I ever played: True Love. This is an old old DOS hentai game from the 90s that I loved and without it I probably wouldn't have made FAKKU. You choose from several different activities to do each day to increase your stats in relevant areas, and then girls start getting interested in you based on what you choose. Work out a lot and you have a chance with the sporty girl, study a lot and you have a chance with the smart girl, etc. If you want to try it out there are some download links below as well as some screenshots, but be warned it is really old. Just put the "True Love" folder in your C:/ directory (in Windows) and run the registry file and it should work. But if it doesn't work... Oh I've played that game in the past, very fun and it has a good story and characters which I thought grows on you as you play more of it.

Just a question about the walkthrough. For some reason I can't get the event where Kazuhiko returns 3000 yen although I've been following the walkthrough quite closely. Does anyone know why?

Old eroge but it's very worth to play. I don't care about the graphics, I just judge it by the gameplay or the story. Thanks a lot Jacob !

I use Windows 7 32-bit, and I have no problem at all, and I can play without any special trick.

I just rename the folder to "TRUELOVE", place it in drive D (I avoid drive C which has the Windows because the UAC protection is very annoying). And then, I run the registry file.

This one is the most annoying, AVG 2011 detect the game as a spyware thread. Is there anyone like this too ?

OK, I download the game, rename the folder etc. And it runs fine. Until I try to play. I can't name my character and I can't read the dialogues. Actually I can't see anything within the black sections. Anyone has this problem?

True Love was my introduction to how deep and fun a Hentai Game could be. Before it was all about the pictures...and it was still a great deal about the pictures, but I never got attached to a hentai game before True Love!

:) I just wish I could find a game with as many choices as TrueLove!

"Unfortunately" not the first eroge I played. I tried it once and lost it, so thanks again for letting me get a hold of such a fun game.
