That was one of the best cards this year, nice mix of tough hard and fought decisions and moves out of the blue. Mir is getting fucking scary right now, though I have doubts about his chin. In a rematch, with Brock I'd have to favor MIr because would Brock would probably have to shake off a year of rust.

If Lesnar-Mir 3 can't happen anytime soon, I'd go for Carwin-Mir or JDS-Mir (if JDS wins)

Thiago has proven himself a contender, I'm guessing he's going to fight the winner of Daley/Koscheck next for the title shot and for the record I'm going for Daley on that one.

For Couture, I don't know. He looked active or maybe it was because Coleman was passive. I hope the UFC gives the guy a job, maybe as a trainer in one of their gyms.

Sonnen, in my opinion, was an eye opener. I have to disagree on you on some points though. I believe he can take on Silva if he works on his submission defense more, Marquardt had him in a really tight choke during the last round; of course, Silva can win via doctor stoppage since Sonnen seems to a bleeder. As for Vitor,I think Sonnen can grind out the decision against him.

Gracie was a game opponent but wasn't able to check some of Hughes leg kicks to make the fighter as competitive as it should have been.

Penn was defeated by Edgar convincingly enough (at least for me) but it could be said that Penn seemed a bit slow.

Silva was the biggest disappointment IMO. The 1st 2 rounds were pretty good, in fact, it was like watching one of those old HK martial arts film but instead of a drunken kung-fu master you had MT/Boxing trickster; he was taunting and clowning Maia and firing spinning back kicks, leg kicks strong enough to spin Maia around and of course, Silva's deadly knee. But for the 3rd to 5tn rounds? Nothing, nada, zilch, Silva couldn't pull the trigger. It's one thing not to finish, it's another thing to not do any damage or attempt to do damage.

I wish GSP would knock some sense into Silva. I don't even want GSP to finish Silva; I want GSP to show Silva what serious domination is. WAR GSP!

I gotta disagree with you Dude. I believe a strong tough wrestler will be Silva's undoing. He can't clown on someone like that. If he focuses his attention to his stunts more than his stance, he'll get taken down ASAP. I'm betting that the needed strong tough wrestler could be Sonnen(R). He ate a lot of shots from Marquardt as well as some submissions and he was still able to deliver a beating on Marquardt

I agree that Sonnen(R) is one of teh best interviewees. As for Sonnen's(R) chances, I'm not claiming he's going to win outright but I believe it's good to give him a 25-30% chance of winning (in contrast I had Maia at 10-5%).

I also have to agree about the GSP fight, we'd both love it to happen but I'm sure the UFC brass is afraid of him messing up another fight. Aside from GSP, I would love to see him fight Shogun (assuming he wins against Machida; I give Shogun a 65% chance of winning). But before that, he would have to fight another LHW before the title shot, I believe that Jon Jones might provide an interesting match-up.

Jones has been on a pretty good streak and taking away the DQ loss to Hamill, those fights have been against great competition. I feel that he's only 1 fight away from taking on a Silva level opponent or challenging for the title. If he does fight Silva, I hope he really works on his striking, so he can utilize his height and reach advantage to at least keep up with Silva
