OK so my friend whose a chick just started dating a guy who for the sake of the story we will call domo. Problem is though shes 15 and hes 18 and she really wants to have sex with him. But because shes not 16 yet the romeo and juliet rules dont apply and it would be statutory rape. I knew what effect being a sex offender could have on this dudes life and i told him. Now she hates me because Domo wont even talk to her. I feel like a douche for cock blocking.
Do you guys think i was wrong for talking to her Bf about this?
EDIT: she wasnt witholding the fact she was 15 obviously but i knew she wasnt going to sit her bf down and ask him if he was cool having sex with her even if it was a felony
EDIT: Domo didnt get mad at her for her wanting to have sex with him he was just avoiding her

If she was hiding that fact from him? Yes, you had a right to tell him to let him know that it may cause him legal trouble.
Will it win you any favor with her? No, but in time she may understand why you did what you did.
Derp, edit: I mistakenly voted "Yes", meant to say "No".

If she was deceiving him with her age she deserved a slap to the head as well for the cock blocking.

Yep, Id say that you should've kept your nose out of your friends business. The relationship seems like it was based soley on the promise of sex and possibly would've gone south somehow or another anyway but you (In my opinion) had no right to make that judgement call to butt in.
Well, Thats one relationship ruined! (Dont feel bad now though... Damage done) :)

You did good, pig. You did good...
Lol, movie reference aside, she should be sat down and told that, unless she wants her boyfriend in jail, she'll wait a while. And HE should be made to understand that they can still wait a year or so until it is legal. I don't really see why he's mad at her.

There's something wrong with domo if he won't talk to her after you telling him that. Your friend shouldn't get mad, but I kind of understand where she comes from. It might be an insecurity that she has to get over and realize you were only looking after the two of them.

If she was trying to get him to have sex, and she knew of the risks, but he didn't. He has reason to be mad.
As for op: You made the right decision.

Nope, you did the smart thing.
If things had ever went sour between them, no matter how little it would be, she would have that hold over him because of that.

No. You just did the right thing.
15 is still young.
Don't tell her that it's the best for her. Tell her that it's wrong.

I for one think you did the right thing. Statutory rape could have cataloged your bro as a registered sex offender for the rest of his life, therefore ruining it.
It's a shame that this girl will no longer talk to you. But you did it with best interests in mind for both parties. Eventually she'll come around, and if not then she's missing out on a great individual.
I remember a similar story. Someone I knew (21) at the time started dating a young, very beautiful girl who was my friend at the time. She looked much older than her real age, so I didn't see anything wrong with it. I got invited to her birthday party and when I asked her what she would want as a present, I was shocked to learn she was only 15. Needless to say I told her boyfriend her real age and advised him to distance himself, seeing as to how their relationship could harm him. He wouldn't listen to me and terminated our involvement, as did she. I heard days later about how he had introduced himself to her parents at her party; not the smartest thing to do. They reported him to the police on grounds of coercing a minor into a sexual relationship and statutory rape. The guy avoided jail, but his reputation was ruined. He lost his job and sank into alcoholism. Last I heard no one had seen him for months. Food for thought.

Generally i am a proponent of not getting involved in other peoples sex lives, but here i am with ya. You were trying to stop him from possibly getting in jail, which is fine by me

You did what you have to do to be a good friend, it's up to both of them if they wanted to screw up they're lives.

Part being a good friend means knowing when to step in and say something before something stupid/bad/regretful happens. After that if they continue on without listing well its up to them to live up to their decisions. She is young she will probably get over it, and hopefully understand why you did what you did.
