I used to be into the Anita Blake vampire hunter series of books by Laurel K. Hamilton, until it turned entirely into lycanthrope bdsm porn. That chick needs to get laid or something. I still have a lot of love for the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, and any discworld novel. Terry Pratchett is fun.

Just last week, I finished reading...
[4.2/5] Slaughter-House Five - Kurt Vonnegut
[4.7/5] Lord of the Flies - William Golding
I guess I'll only mention books I liked that I've read in the last three years or so. My current favorites are...
Liked reading but don't remember what the hell went on...
Not novels but still great...
Currently reading...

Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger.
Never gets old. Holden always cracks me up. That book kills me.

Viriconium by M. John Harris
A masterful work. Truly wonderful.
Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman.
The novelization of the BBC T.V. show in 1996.
Prefer the novel over the series haha.

I have never read or heard of any of these stories. I think that's why I am so turned on by this list, lmao. I'll start with Gorky. I was going to get to him next, since he was Chekhov's pen pal.

Thanks to film orange and gibbous' lists, i'm set for the next year or so. and a few other people reminded me of books i been meaning to go back and reread.
also, i recommend The Art of War by Sun Tzu to everyone. i've found you can apply it(certain parts anyway) to many aspects of everyday life, such as buisness and social situations.
