Sadly first thing I look at is physical features.I'm a bit picky, but I don't care if she has a pretty face either. I kind of tend toward the indie chicks. She has to have the hair, teeth and style. But if she has the attitude of an ogre and a personality of a block to match. shes outta here!...

One that can play the piano, so she can teach me, haha (it's very hard self teaching). I want something like the MV of Guang Lian - Tong Hua to happen. EXCEPT!!! She doesn't have cancer. Very sad MV btw, I would recommend watching it.
Uhh what else, I guess a person who is able to enjoy an anime like Aria. I've recommended it to some people and they said it's boring, but hopefully one day, i'll find that one person. Funny requirement huh, but if you have watched that anime, you might know why this is a criteria (to be able to enjoy the wonders of the world with me, corny huh, but it's a must).
I too have to say looks SOMEWHAT matter. I can look pass the minor flaws (makeup seems to do the trick) and plus we can even work on the ones like a slight weight issue (actually that would be awesome, I love the idea of working out together).
Also must enjoy my type of music, which currently is classical/instrumentals. Songs from Rachmainoff to ones from Yiruma. And even soundtracks from Angel Beats, Clannad, Ef, etc.
Finally, be able to hold a conversation with me. If you can't at least do this, it becomes a huge turn off. I don't mind silence though but you just got to know when I want to talk, it's a feeling ya know, and I hope she can feel it too. Like going afk while we're having a decent convo. on MSN isn't very cool.
Well that's all, not too bad right? Oh and I forgot to say, 'Pride' is a must. If you have no pride in what you do or who you are as an individual, you're nothing but a blow up doll in my eyes. Dam, I must say that last criteria probably shot 3/4 of the Earth's population. No lie.

haha! I totally agree with this as well. I want a guy who is confident, incredibly passionate about his life, risk taker, and an adventurer who doesn't mind getting into a little bit of trouble with me. :) but loyalty and kindness are some of best qualities in a person and i would definitely need to add that to the mix.
as far attractiveness, i agree as well. if i think you are totally badass and amazing, you could be 300 lbs with buck teeth and i will adore you. ahh :)
i did find a guy somewhat like this..he's insanely brillant, hilarious and passionate, but a former law professor of mine. he's by objective standards not the most attractive guy (braces, buck teeth, tall and langly, with a lisp), but a lot of girls drool over him b/c he is just too damn awesome. one damn sexy beast.

lol, yeah :) objectively he is, but once he opens his mouth...he's just that cool and badass. and like i said, i wasn't the only one secretly wishing he was single..it was a little awkward having him for two of my classes, him and i were on the same page on a lot of things and when i raised my hand he always had a habit of taking a seat back and of letting me have the room. although he definitely called me out if i said something kind of dumb. :)

I think my standards are way too high for my situation though very little of it is set in stone, this is all just what I'd like to see.
First of personality:
- She has to be around my intelligence level, or if she's smarter that's great as long as she isn't arrogant about it.
- Kind, with a sense of humor similar to mine and honest in all matters even if it's something that may hurt to hear.
- Patient, in all matters. I'm socially inept, my only relationship was an internet thing, and I have a physical disability that is going to progress over the years which means I'm going to need help with certain things and I'm not going to be able to go out all the time.
- Prefers to stay in instead of going out, but still wants to go out some.
- Being tsundere is the ultimate bonus, though not a requirement.
- Shares at least some of my interests, especially gaming and anime.
- Preferably nerdy/geeky.
- She doesn't have to be really kinky, but she can't be a prude either. Some extra kinkiness would be a bonus though. Stuff like collars, light bondage, some of the "dirtier" positions, wearing different types of lingerie/"costumes" and so on, nothing real heavy.
- Open mindedness is a must.
Preferred physical attributes:
- I'm another person that hates to admit it but looks do matter, to a point. She doesn't have to fit my preferences exactly, or at all for the most part but I do have to find her attractive.
- Dark or red hair, though some other colors can be cute/sexy (blue and purple) on the right people.
- Smaller breasts are preferred, but it all depends on the person. Everything in balance.
- Her weight needs to fit her body, she can't be so thin you can see her entire ribcage and she can't be fat. Slightly under or overweight is fine.
- I prefer petite girls, but there's always exceptions. (For anime examples Taiga or Mikan.)
Miscellaneous:
- No smokers.
- Can't drink heavily, a drink or two now and then is fine though.
- No hard drugs, some weed here and there is fine since I'd be a hypocrite otherwise since I use it for medical purposes.
- Hygiene is a must!
