What is THE saddest piece of music you've heard

I'm kind of disappointed no one posted Giles Corey yet. This guy's self-titled album is just kill-yourself depressing. I mean even the song titles make you sad.

Oh God just thinking about Aoi Teshima and hearing her voice in my head almost always brings me to tears.
Oh God here come the Fragile Dreams feels again.
Good Luck finding the games ending theme on Youtube tho. Fuck man I knew posting here again was a bad idea.

Ngejo
Completed Ioomic Life
Warning from UK released two really depressing doom albums that I've enjoyed without going into funeral doom or depressive suicidal black metal.
This is my favorite track from their second album but to really feel how depressing the album is listen from the first song until the end, it just gets more depressing song after song.

The Johnny Cash cover of "Hurt". This song suited him so well and there is a reason Trent Reznor cried while hearing this.

Since I cannot chose a single song, I will pick the album "From These Wounds" by Funeral.
The album hits like a truck when it comes to sadness and despair. The album is a masterpiece, however the circumstances the band had between the previous album and this probably explains why the sadness rings so true on this album. They lost two band members, one due to suicide and one in an accident. This album does portray the loss of the band quite well. If I had to pick one song it would either be "This Barren Skin" or "Pendulum", but the compilation of sadness that is this album is just too great to not mention the whole thing.

Probably, Evanescence - Hello.
For the more depressive side of sad: Mooze - Wasteland.
For the more melancholic aspect: Coldworld - Winterreise or Inade - Aion Telios

I'm gonna say Space Lion, it's that sax heavy track off the Cowboy Bebop OST. Brilliant stuff, very moody and atmospheric

But even sadder (and to me better and one of my personal best songs song i have ever heard) is the song Blue from the Cowboy Bebops soundtrack. Absolutely beautiful and euphoric.
"The Seatbelts - Blue (feat. Mai Yamane)" if you want to youtube it.
