Once I realize I'm dreaming, I pull Inception-style shit and start completely reconstructing everything around me.
Last night, (4-6 AM for me) I dreamed of fighting one of Salvador Dali's bony, elephantish, thingythings. I can't describe them well. If you know what I'm talking about, then YAY.

Even if I know I'm dreaming the only person I have control over is my self other people will only do what they are likely to do in real life. Unless it's a nightmare then people act the opposite.
Similarly when awake I like to pretend to talk to people I know in my head as I'm trying to fall asleep kind of like lucid dreaming but I have a better control of content but people still won't do what they wouldn't in real life. I do it because I like to practice conversation and I like to study their personality because I'm afraid of social interaction and I like to be prepared.

When I realize that I am dreaming, I mostly just try to let the dream continue on its own and see where it leads because my subconscious seems to know what it's doing and it must have some kind of point or reason for it. Plus I'm to lazy to come up with anything while I sleep.

If I could lucid dream, I would spend hours and hours making passionate love to my boyfriend. I can never get my fill of him, and in my dreams... I wouldn't have to. <3

Whenever I'm aware that I'm dreaming, I try to control it. However when I do, everything goes against me (in the dream).
For example, if my laptop buggered up in my dream, it would BSOD when trying to fix it. The dream I had where I switched bodies with a manly nympho who I know IRL, I wanted to run away from her (while she was in my body) but I ended up needing a piss so I couldn't.
Whenever something majorly bad goes wrong in my dream, I always wake up. And thankfully, always when I need to wake up.

Well, it seems like most people knows that it's called "lucid dreaming" and fortunately, I can control everything in my dreams when that happens. And the best part happens when I got a "lucid dream" while having a wet dream...
Please accept me as your student, sensei!!! XD

BAD DREAM:
I think of a gun that I can use to kill the bad dream. AA-12 Fully Automatic shotgun is my fave.
Then, I try to shake myself to make me fall from my bed. This is to wake myself up in real life.
GOOD DREAM:
Apply Self-Inception.
Especially if you're dreaming with the hot girl you like,
.... c'mon. You know what happens next.
Then just think that she's happy with what you are doing with her.
Works best if you're a tsundere lover like me ^.^

Somehow, I never figure out if i'm dreaming or not....
Once i killed my whole family in my dream, though the likelihood of that happening was impossible in real life, I still believed it was real and woke up shivering.
If i do figure out that i am dreaming and manage to stay inside the dream....Guess I would tell everyone how i feel about them? Punch some motherfuckers in the face? Ippon Seoi Nage everyone i see?
Dunno

Strangely I dream about being at work most of the time. When I realize I'm in a dream I work with the powers of lazy-superman. For some reason I just continue about working, I'm just hovering slowly and lazily drifting along doing regular things with powers similar to superman, but I become entirely apathetic in my dreams and just don't care that much. I actually remember thinking in a dream, "huh, I'm invincible, incredibly powerful and could easily take over the world, but why bother... I guess I'll just keep (putting out freight, making coffee beverages, whatever my current job is)"... Rather uninteresting...

I hate when that happens. we learned about it in psych and i learned that i hated it. I was having this wonderful dream where i was in some kind of panoramic world, and i was walking along a beach and their were guns there from ww2, so i was pickin em up and sayin "boy i'll get alot of money for all th- wait.. crap.." then i just sat down and stayed there till the dream ended. no fun at all

Lucid dreaming, eh? Well, it's happened numerous times before. Usually one of two things happen:
1. If it's a nightmare, I desperately try finding somewhere to hide and then go nuts trying to find a way to wake myself up.
2. If it's a dream I'm enjoying, I just pretend it's reality. These are the worst because when you actually wake up it makes you feel so much worse because you knew it wasn't reality.

If ever I could control my dream, I'd be rich, hung like an elephant and smack people with it to force them to bow to me, eat all kinds of food, have all the luxury in the world and all of that while having my pinky finger raised. Gotta have style while I dream in this dream. Wonder why no women in it? I have an elephants dong, I like to make love not committing first degree murder. Then why have it? For the lulz.

when I start to rape girls or have sex in my dream (once I know I'm dreaming)...i can never finish it...don't know why? Might be the erection that woke me up :P Lucid dreaming is when you impose your conscious mind onto your subconscious dream state. Most people can do this, at one time or another, and you can actually train your mind to recognize when they are in dream state. The probable reason you lose control of the dream during rape/NTR situations is that you have to dredge deeper into your subconscious to visualize them. Most people cannot logically sustain such actions because they are not actually a rapist. Therefore, the subconscious takes over the imagery and you lose positive control of the dream. As for simple acts of sex, it is much the same. Few people are in total control during actual sex, so the mind lets the subconscious take over.
For those who can't remember their dreams, a dream journal can be helpful in improving your dream retention. How many times have you been dreaming, and thought to yourself, "I've had this dream before." Most dreams are repetitive, and it helps you to recognize the clues that tell you that you're dreaming. Once you have that knowledge, control is much easier.
